Kokichi pov

I stared in shocked. I dint really understand what to think of
Shuichi misleading text. I herd other mutters from my fellow room mates. But I stayed completely silent. Until i herd a voice that I expected to here soon.

"Allright! Kokichi, Maki, Kaede, Rantaro, Get in the car!"

I flinched as I herd my name being screamed. Not bothering putting on my fake smile because I was to worried to care at then moment, I reached the end of my room and peeped my head out of the room.

Maki, Kaede, Rantaro, and Kaito outside in the hall, all looking worried. But determined.

" Get in the car? Why?"I asked with some concern in my voice.

"Well Shuichi needs a ride, it's kinda obvious!" He yelled at me excepting me to just nod and waltz right over to them and except no explanation why.

Even though I already know why. But I still want answers.

" How do we know if he wants a ride? Shouldn't we ask him first"Rantaro explained folding his arms, with a serious look on his face, beating me to it to ask.

"Even if not and it was just an accident, I still wanna know if he's okay, even if no one wants to come." He didn't fineshe his sentence for a few seconds before puffing out.

"He's my sidekick, I won't let him down!"

We all stared at him with sharing the same emotion we all had for him in this short time. Fuck I don't know why everyone dint fall for Kaito, he always knew what to say and when to say it.

With that sentence said, determination rushed threw our bodies, so with out further more questions asked by anyone, we made our way in the car.

Kaito and maki sat in the front, why Kaede sat in the middle with rantaro and I on both sides.

I tried to keep my worry in as Kaito drived out the driveway making his way to the location, I felt like I was pulling it off.

But I guess not.

Kaede reached out for my hand on my leg, my eyes shot up at her face as I was welcomed by a face full of worry and concern.

" kokichi, are you allright"she asked me , as I just swallowed down any fear I had left and sucked up the sweat.

"Nishisi~ of course I am! Honestly I just came along to be entertained, No other reasons though" I smirked devilish hoping she'll fall for it. Like there allways do.

And it allways works.

Every mean, or rude statement I say, every laugh I laugh at people as teasing them.

Every lie I speak, everyone believes.

Except for one.

After ever lie I say, he allways say that reassuring sentence to remind me to stay true to myself.

"That's a lie"

Hearing that sentace from him made me always rember that even when the rest of the world turns on me, I'll have him. Him to keep me safe.

But why am I not keeping him safe?

I guess my thoughts got to my face because I felt the grip become harder.

"I promise, he's okay" she says kindly to me, even if I just said something completely rude.

A small smile crept on my face as I nod and let go of her hand, to put them in my other , to hold something to let my strees get out.
