Getting benched

We landed in St.Roch, Rip said something before about side effects of time travel like bleeding from the eyes and some other crap. But I was perfectly fine.

Except for Mick he turned to his side and threw up and then Rip said "I should've mentioned it before but nausea is one of the side effects of time travel" I was patting his shoulder while Ray fell to the floor when Rip said "along with vertigo..." and Stein says he can't see and Rip waves his hand in front of his face "...and temporary blindness, it should only last a minute, After all, that was a mere jaunt. The further back in time you go the worse the side effects."

Snart shook his head and I asked Mick if he was okay while snickering a bit he said he was fine while glaring at me which only made me laugh more.

"I can't believe you kidnapped me." I hear Jax say loudly to Stein.
"Hey I wanna go home" he continues

"Good news, then 2016 will be around in, uh, 41 years" Rip replied then turned to Sara, Snart, Mick and I and said "Now, you four, feel free to make yourselves comfortable back here on the ship," then turns to the others "while the rest of you are coming with me to find Professor Boardman."

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. you're benching us?" Mick asks confused.

"I thought we were a team?" Sara asks with a attitude

"Yea Rippy what gives?" I add in.

"This mission doesn't require your particular skill set. Yet" He replies.

"Meaning you don't need anyone killed, maimed, or robbed." Snart said. "Or charmed to death" I added in with a smirk and a wink in his direction. Snart smirks back and Rip rolled his eyes while he said "Precisely"

Ray grabbed Rips arm "are you sure it's a good idea to leave these three unsupervised on a time machine?" He said I knew he was talking about Snart, Mick and I. So I gave him a death stare and he looked nervous.

"Hey haircut, deafness wasn't one of the side effects" Mick added and I smirked at his comment.

Rip turned and changed the subject "We better hurry up Professor Boardman will die in less than 24 hours"

Everyone fallowed after him "What's the point of cutting it so close?" Ray asked. "Because if he's destined to die, then he doesn't have a timeline for us to disrupt, and his impact on the future will be minimal." Stein answered. "How brilliant!"

"And depressing" added Kendra "how does he die?"

"Uh, he's found dead in his university from unknown causes. Come on." Rip answers in a hurry.

"Are you coming?" Stein asks Jax.
"I'll stay put" Jax replied with a attitude.
"You'd rather stay with them?"
"They didn't drug me" Jax answered
"Point taken" and with that Stein walked out.

When everybody left the five of us stayed in the room. Sara walking around, Snart sitting looking out the window or something Jax sitting in one of the seats and Mick and I found a remote to a TV and we turned it on to see what was on.

"Why does this stupid station play nothing but reruns?" Mick asked to no one in particular.

I just smiled and shook my head at his comment. Then I turned to Sara and Jax "don't even bother trying to explain" I said to them.

"Am I the only one on this ship who could really use a drink?" Sara said
"I say we go get weird in the 70's" I replied smirking at her.
Snart spun around "excellent idea"
I got the perfect outfit" she said smiling and with that they all get up and start walking towards the door.

"Perhaps Captain Hunter was unclear with his instructions to remain onboard" Gideon said.
"Shut it, metal mouth!" Me and Mick said at the same time.
He looks at me smirking "took the words right out of my mouth" he says.
"What can I say great minds" I say shrugging.

Jax is following us "oh, you're not quite ready to run with this crew. Sorry kid" Snart says to him.

"Wait you're just gonna leave me here?" Jax asks
"I said I'd take care of you" Snart yells back while walking towards the door.

"Sorry baby" I say patting his head and fake pouting at him. As I'm walking away smirking I hear him suck his teeth behind me.
