The alarm was still going off and it was really making me mad at this point. My head was against the bars facing out and I was leaning on them, trying to think about something other than the blaring of the alarm. I get angry easily and sometimes I black out so I don't want to do that with two other people standing behind me in a small cage. I let out a sigh of relief as I see Mick come around the corner."What the hell happened?" He asks looking at me and then back to Snart and Ray.
"It was this idiots fault"
"Your partners fault"
Snart and Ray said at the same time."It was all Ray"I said after they spoke.
"I told you we shouldn't have brought him." Mick says to Snart in his gruff voice.
"Exactly" I said closing my eyes trying to stay calm
"Agreed, but we got bigger problems" Snart says walking closer to the front of the cage where I am "I need you to find the fuse box-"
"-Trigger a system default" Mick finished for him. He pointed at Ray and said in his ruff voice "this ain't over" and walked away out of sight again
Snart was tapping on the wooden platforms, that the glass cases sat on, trying to find a spot where it wasn't hollow. He found one and opened it up to revel a bunch of wires and things.
"How did you know how to do that?" Ray asks looking down at Snart
"When I was a kid, my dad brought me along on jobs. I had little hands, I could get into tiny spaces, do whatever he needed me to do, like rewiring a security system." Snart explained messing around with the wires inside the box.
"I can relate." I said in a monotone voice as I kneeled down next to him to see what he was doing.
"In another life one of you could've been an electrical engineer." Ray said sitting on the ground beside Snart.
"Guess I dodged a bullet." Snart replied, being his sassy self. "You think I wanna be like you?"
"You make be a tech billionaire sound like I bad thing." Ray replied to his question
"You spend all your time and money inventing a super-suit, and what do you do with it? Fly around like some incredible shrinking schmuck trying to save the world." Snart argued back
"Robbing banks for a living- I suppose that's more important?" Ray asks the cold man.
"Hell yea it is" I added in
"It's sure a hell more satisfying." Snart said after smirking at me
"Thinking like that is what make you a criminal."
"No, it makes me a survivor. And there's gonna come a day when you wish you were too." Snart says looking over at the billionaire
Snart sits back stumped as to why what he was doing wasn't working. Ray sits up on one knee besides him,
"Here" Ray said holding out his hand for the tool Snart was using. He hesitantly handed it over to Ray."If you flip the solenoid, save you the trouble of rewiring it." Ray says and fixes Snarts mistake.
"I take it back, Raymond. You're not completely useless after all." Snart says to the man, he sounded sarcastic.
"Aww you guys had a moment" I said looking in between them both. They rolled their eyes and went back to work.
The alarm turned off, finally, took long enough.
"Huh. Looks like Rory found the fuse box." Ray said slightly surprised.
"We got a slight problem!" Mick yelled not in sight "the onset just came home, your not gonna believe who it is" when he finishes his sentence, he is around the corner and Savage is holding him and pointing a gun to his head.
