bridge to craziness

the end for us (part two)

11:00 AM

"eh... miss, I think your date just ran away" the waitress said while she pointed to the door, I turned and saw Robert running away, furiously I stood up and went to the door, the waitress followed me and said "he was looking at me earlier, I don't think he is the best date ever" I turned to see the waitress, she was wearing her uniform, her makeup was perfectly made and her hair was carefully brushed

"thank you," I said, "if you excuse me I have to go and chase my damn man," and I ran to the door.

I easily lost Robert into the crowd, so I just ran right into it, at the other end of the sea of people, I finally could see Robert again, he was running and screaming, as if he was crazy, I started running trying to catch up, but he was too fast, I tried to run faster, by the moment I finally reached him we were in the middle of the bridge.

I tried to talk to him "Robert, Robert are you okay" but he doesn't answer I stood up in front of him, and then is when I saw his face, he was scared, he was looking at the little plaza in one of the sides of the bridge

"Robert, what is going on?!" I was starting to get scared too, just to look at him like this.

He must be playing a prank.

The more I thought about this, the more sense it made, this was the same bridge where that poor girl had gone crazy and jumped, I knew that for some reason it was something fun for him, I really don't think death is funny.

Now I understood, and I was angrier than I have ever been.

Robert

Nora is safe.

I totally forgot about her, I was totally freaking out because of the fire, no wonder why she looks so angry

"what the hell is wrong with you?!" she yelled I was too shocked to answer, instead she kept yelling "don't do this to me!"

"I'm sorry," I finally said

"if you are sorry, stop doing this!"

"b-but, the fire," I said pointing at the huge fire that was once the little plaza

"there is not a fire!" she said, "she doesn't believe in you, does she?" said the other voice.

Other voice?

It was calm, like a breeze, the kind of person that would know how to take your problems away, and it kept talking, so did Nora

"you know what?!" Nora said hysterically "I'm done, I'm done with living with you, supporting you, forgiving you. I'm just done,"

"there she goes, she never loved you," the voice said, the fire was getting bigger and bigger, and hotter.

"This is the end for us, we are breaking"

"do it"

And I did what the voice said.

"ROBERT!" I yelled, I couldn't believe it.

He jumped off the goddamn bridge.

Ironic.
