'I'm a paintor, Mom! I want to be an Architect or an Artist but you insisted that I study Business Administration! I am not a businessman, Mom! Anong alam ko sa pagpapatakbo ng RA na yan! Your brother is handling it well so bakit kailangang umekstra pa ako dun?! I'm fine with my life here! I don't want to leave the country, I like it here! I don't want to leave, Mom!'

'Is that your real reason, Genesis?! Your passion in art, that work of yours?! Or her?!' dinantay ni Mom ang kamay sa work table ko and look straight at me, raising an eyebrow. 

'Labas dito si Lovely, Mom! Hindi siya kasali dito sa pinag-uusapan natin!'

'Labas?! How can she be out of this issue if she is also one of your main reasons why you don't want to leave this country?!' tiim ang bagang na napailing ako at muling uminom ng brandy, nagsindi narin ako ng sigarilyo. Hindi ako sasama sa'yo sa San Francisco! You won't convince me dahil this is my home! This is where I belong! That's my final say, Mom!'

'Why can't you think like your Dad, Genesis?! Why can't your mind be like that of your Dad?! Hindi ka bubuhayin ng pag-ibig na yan! Hindi ka papakainin ng pag-ibig na yan! That Lovely is your downfall, Genesis! Hihilahin ka lang ng babaeng yan pababa! Did you think hindi ko malalaman ang ginawa mong pagtulong sa babaeng yan?! Akala mo hindi ko malalaman na ikaw ang nagtustos sa pag-aaral niya kaya siya nakapagtapos ng 2 years course HRM?! I knew it all, Genesis! Why won't you wake up?! Ginagamit ka lang ng babaeng yan! Pineperahan ka lang niya para matupad niya ang mga pangarap niya! She is just using you! She doesn't love you!! Are you dumb?! Are you blinded by that stupid love of yours for her, Genesis?! Inuuto ka na, ginagamit ka na pero nagbubulag-bulagan ka pa!! Wake up, Genesis!! Open your eyes! It's not all heart in this world, you also have to use your mind!!'

'Tangina naman, Mom!!!' hinagis ko ang hawak kong brandy glass, tumama at nabasag ito sa wall ng work room ko.

'GENESIS!!'

'You don't know her, Mom! You don't know her para pagsalitaan mo siya ng ganyan!' napasabunot ko ang aking buhok dahil sa frustration ko kay mommy. 'Mahal ako ni Lovely, Mom!!
