By the time they were on the plane, (F/N) had a massive headache. Their flight had a two-hour delay, which was probably a good thing, since she'd run off by herself and gotten lost. It also didn't help that Hozuki had to take medication to make himself look human, since he couldn't wear his hat through airport security. That left him fatigued and hard to deal with.

Now, they were finally in the air, set to arrive in Australia at four AM.

(F/N) leaned back in her seat and glanced at her companion. He was typing something into his phone, eyes narrowed.

"What're you doing?" she asked, absentmindedly searching her backpack for something to do.

"I'm texting Takamura-san instructions," he answered.

(F/N) groaned. "Jesus Christ, Hozuki-kun! We're on vacation. At least pretend to relax."

He glared at her. "This is important. I have to make sure no one messes up while we're gone, or we'll have even more work than usual when we get back."

(F/N) snatched his phone, and began changing the contact names. "We'll be busy no matter what! Now take a nap or something! You look like you're gonna keel over!"

He ignored her last sentence, and took his phone back.

"Hey!" she snapped. "I didn't even get to fill it up with selfies!"

"Why is that always your immediate course of action when you steal my phone?"

She rolled her eyes, reaching for the phone, only to have him hold it out of her reach. He was already changing the contact names back.

Of course he had the actual numbers memorized! Of course!

In one last effort to retrieve the phone, she stood up. Just as she did so, the plane tilted a little, and she fell into his lap.

"Are you done?" Hozuki asked, glaring down at her.

She nodded, face cherry red, and returned to her seat.

"Y-yeah...but you...you really should take a nap. You've been up late getting the office ready to run without you, after all."

He put his phone away. "That is very like you, isn't it? Complaining I don't sleep when I regularly wake up to the sound of your television at three in the morning."

She flinched. "Yeah, well I don't like to sleep! I mean—I'm dead. It's not like it matters."

"I'm dead, too," he pointed out.

She pulled her neck pillow out of her bag, and shoved it in his face. "There! Now sleep!"

He pushed the pillow back towards her. "Why are you so insistent on getting me to sleep?"

Because your sleeping face is freaking adorable!

She threw the pillow at him. "Why are you so insistent on not sleeping?"

"Because they're going to be serving a meal, and I don't want to miss it."

She hesitated. "Oh, they have food? I've never been on a plane before. I assumed you just starved."

He handed her the pillow, which she willingly took this time.

"That's right. You've never been on a vacation before, have you?"

She shook her head.

I forgot...he's read my scroll. I wonder how much he remembers?
