3 MONTHS LATER

Ava glared at David and Susan as they tried to help her up the steps into the house she and Will had bought. "Stop fussing over me. I'm fine." She pushed past them and opened the large wooden door on her own. She always had been independent, she couldn't just stop now.

"Ava the doctor said you should take it easy!" David nervously hovered.

"All this moving and stress isn't good for the baby, Ava." Susan stood over her as she sat on the couch, and crossed her arms, attempting to look threatening.

"Susan, I am positive that moving a few boxes is the least of my worries right now. Like the fact that you somehow still haven't figured out where the hell Elena is." Ava flipped through a magazine, growing increasingly angry with the conversation. Where was Will with dinner anyway?

She looked up just in time to see a look pass between David and Susan. "Excuse me, what was that? That look? I thought we agreed to tell each other everything we knew from now on?" Ava stood, her tiny baby bump like a small basketball on her petite figure. " What are you not telling me? And don't lie, because right about now, my hormones are raging, and you do not want to piss me off." Ava was surprised at herself. This baby must be one hell of a kid to give her such a menacing confidence. Where the hell was Will?

"She's here, she's in town. Melody and Kaleb have been doing some surveillance, but we haven't had much luck. All we know is, she's here and she's after you obviously." David looked at the floor.

"Damnit David!" Ava yelled. She grabbed her keys from the counter and headed for the door she had just come in only a few minutes before.

"Ava, it's not safe!" Susan began.

"God, Susan, nothing is safe anymore. I can't even trust you two to be honest with me. Tell Will to call me when he gets home." Ava slammed the door behind her and breathed in the fresh mountain air. It was beautiful up her, even if she was pissed off. "Let's go cool off somewhere, Peanut. I'm feeling some pineapple upside down cake, how about you?" As if in response her stomach growled. She had to laugh just a little, even if the baby couldn't respond, her stomach could.

Ava's newest car, a BMW X3, wound around the mountain roads with ease. She always felt as if she was flying while driving it. Her phone began to ring as she reached the outskirts of town, and she smiled as Will's face lit up the screen, "Hey, handsome, I was wondering where you were." She teased.

"Oh, he's been with me darling." Ava could hear the smirk in the woman's voice. "Say hello to your beloved, William." Labored breathing came across the line and the color drained from Ava's face as she tried to focus on driving. "It seems he's a bit...incapacitated at the moment." Her sneer only further infuriated Ava

"What the hell do you want Elena. He has nothing to do with any of this." Anger flared in her chest.

"But he does, Ava dear. I will let him go, if you come to me. Do we have a deal?" Ava could feel tears well in her eyes, but pushed them away.

"Fine. send the address. Don't lay another hand on him. Are we clear? Touch him again, and I'll kill you." Ava's threat was taken lightly.

"Like you could.."Elena began.

"I said, touch him again, and I will kill you. Are we clear?" Ava gritted her teeth.

Elena seethed, "Very well then. Here's the address." Ava's phone buzzed and the line went dead. She clicked the pin dropped by Elena and began here trip. Only fifteen minutes.
