Heya guys, :) This guy on the side of the page is Daniel, (Mia's brother.)  And the song I put on the side, Don't listen to it until you read the chapter. If you listen close to the words, you'll understand how Gabriel and the song relate. :)

Over and out. ;D

~Dani's P.O.V~

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!" I yelled groggily, getting up from the comfy couch. The knocking continued and then turned into forceful banging. I scrambled towards the door and threw it open, coming face to face with none other than, Mia and some dude who I'm assuming was her brother.

"Dani!!!" Mia yelled, and threw herself at me. I muttered a groggy, "Oh hey." I rubbed my eyes and looked at her brother. He was tall, maybe about 5'10, kind of muscular, he had his sisters wavy auburn hair, big blue eyes and a straight jaw. Hmm... He was good looking.

I smiled at him and stuck out my hand. "Hellooooo, nice to meet you. I'm assuming your Mia's brother? Because it was so nice of Mia to introduce us." I said sarcasticaly and gave her a sweet and sour look.  He laughed and took my hand, shaking it.

"Yeah Mia. You heard the girl. And yeah, I'm Daniel, Mia's awesome brother." He said cooly, winking at me. OoLala. Is it hot in here? I joked with myself.

Suddenly Mia spoke up, "Oh yeah sorry- Dani this is Daniel and Daniel this is Dani. And ohmygosh you almost have the same names!" She gushed, grinning at us.

I rolled my eyes at her, "Yeah Mia, I think we've already got that covered. Come on in." I said, ushering them through the door.

Once we came into the living room, I spotted Gabriel, sitting in the same exact spot as before, eyes glued to the tv, watching some dumb looking cartoon. Oh my, was that mickey mouses clubhouse?" I laughed invoulantarily, making him look up. I held my stomach and pointed at the screen, he rolled his eyes and turned back to the tv screen making me laugh harder.

"Gabey!" Mia called out as she ran to him and jumped onto his lap. A sour taste took over my mouth and I looked away.

And my eyes landed on Daniel, standing in the hallway looking at the pictures on the walls of me at all ages. "So," I said, trying to start a conversation with the awkward dude. "How do you like it here so far?"I asked, motioning with my hands.

"It's cool. Not my kind of place but it's all good. How about you? Do you like it?" He smiled, showing his pearly whites. Man, were their parents barbies? I didn't doubt it, with those looks.

"I guess. I mean, I grew up here so it's kind of hard not to like it, ya know?" I smiled, looking down at my hands. He nodded, understanding. "Let's go sit on the couch with Mia and Gabe."

"Sure. Just what I need, a nice comfy couch." He said winking at me again.

We walked into the livingroom and sat down across from The two. Mia was sitting on Gabes lap, with her arms wrapped around his neck, while his arms were wrapped around her waist. Both of their eyes were glued to the screen. They were intrgued by the mickey mouse clubhouse crap. Well, I guess they're a good match, they both like baby tv shows... I thought sourly.

While they were cuddled up together on the couch, I was stuck with Daniel. Not that I didn't like him or anything, It's just I kind of wanted to speak to my friends. Or the people who were supposed to be my friends.

"SO, my FRIENDS." I said loudly in a monotone, implying Mia and Gabriel, who automatically looked up at my implication. "How are you enjoying that two year old show?"

Gabriel gave me a blunt look and muttered, "I'm hooked." While Mia, who could barely take her eyes off the screen, looked dazed as she said, "It's really good."
