"Lilly wake up".

"Huh", I rubbed my eyes and looked up to a worried Sierra.

"Do you want to go home?", she asked me.

"I'll go home by myself in a cab. I don't want to interrupt your date", I tried reasoning with her. I could see that her boyfriend was already annoyed with me for coming with them and now that I wanted to leave early made him angrier.

"No I can't let you go by yourself, especially in this situation", she said, helping me get up by reaching around my shoulders

She turned to the man next to her and asked, "Can you please drop us at our house. She's not feeling well".

He nodded, "Yeah it's fine, I'll drop you guys". Clearly, he was mad, I could feel his anger. He was lying straight through his teeth. I wanted to go home, and I surely didn't want to be near this guy. However, I didn't want to be with those teddy bears either.

Anyways, I'd rather be with them than be around this guy.

*********

"Bye!!!", Sierra hugged him before he left. She waited until he got into his car and left.

She closed the door and walked over to the couch, where I was resting.

"I don't like that guy", I revealed. I held no emotions in my face as I informed her of my opinion.

Sierra looked shocked at my direct remark. "Why? I think he's a nice guy. He's really cute too. Did you see his dimple?", she giggled poking her cheek.

She was really pissing me off. Hearing her joking at this time made me feel like I was unimportant.

Or I'm probably just an attention seeking asshole who just ruined their date.

I rolled my eyes and huffed in disgust. She was really delusional, how couldn't she see past his fake smile?

"Whatever, let's talk about that another time. Sleep, for now, we need to go to the hospital again tomorrow", she pushed me up the stairs.

"No way, I have a cumulative to study for, I'll sleep when I'm done", I argued. It was true, I missed a couple days of school already, which meant I was behind on a lot of material. If I didn't study, I would end up failing my classes.

I opened my textbook to a page filled with words and started to read it.

Guess I'm not sleeping tonight...

"Sierra come here!", I yelled out.

In seconds I could hear her footsteps running towards my room.

"What?", she panted, leaning against the doorway trying to catch her breath.

"I need you to model something for me", I told her, flipping to the next page in the textbook.

She looked pissed, "If it's one of those wierdass sex positions that you want me to model, I'm not doing it".

"I swear it's not that bad, I'm just trying to model a check for breast cancer. It'll be quick", I motioned her over to my bed.

She hesitantly came towards me and sat next to me.

Looking at the picture in the book, I copied the person reaching their arms out. However, instead of touching her, I tickled her.

She squealed and fell on her back. I giggled as she struggled underneath me.

"Thump".

We both fell off the bed in fits of laughter, clutching our stomachs. Laying on the floor next to her, I started a conversation about why homeostasis was the key to human existence.

Let's just say, no studying happened that night...

(I swear we didn't have s*x)
