We both followed the petite woman into the interior of the hospital, walking behind her hasty steps. Room after room passed as we walked through the endless hallway. Every room could be entered by a brown door with a white three-digit number at the top.

"Dr.Zhang is waiting inside, you may meet him", the lady informed. Thrusting more papers in my hands, she waddled away, rushing to aid more patients.

Already, I was nervous to meet this doctor. His room was different from the other ones. A glossy ebony door stood in front of us. A nameplate was positioned in the center of the door. Written across the mahogany nameplate was "Dr. Yixing Zhang, MD. Certified Neurologist" in gold letters.

I opened the door, skeptical to meet the person sitting inside.

How did she even get a meeting directly with a specialist? Something is weird.

The room was filled with certificates and medals. A red couch sat in the corner and a large wooden desk was at the end. Two chairs were placed before the desk. A black leather chair was situated behind it. However, there was no one in the chair.

Sierra and I exchanged looks, noticing the absence of the doctor.

The door swung open from behind, causing us to turn around.

"Hello ladies, I'm Dr. Zhang, please have a seat".

I didn't expect him to be that young. His skin was barely tarnished by wrinkles, and his smile was heartwarming. He looked like a genuine person with a kind heart. He strode over to his chair and carefully sat down. He motioned us to sit down in the chairs in front of him.

Obeying, we silently sat down in the chairs.

"So which one of you guys is the patient?", he asked us, looking at his computer. He seemed to be extremely forgetful. I could see Sierra's eyebrow twitch in annoyance out of the corner of my eye.

"Me", I said. I twiddled with my fingers in my lap, feeling anxious. He took the papers from me and flipped through the pages. His eyebrows furrowed in confusion as he looked at the information with concern.

"I've looked through your previous records, there's nothing that is particularly concerning-", he started to explain, only to be interrupted by Sierra.

"Dr. Zhang, from the past few days, she's been saying the most absurd things. Lilly has never acted this way, there has to be something wrong with her", she tried to reason.

I didn't know why, but I felt a burning sense of dislike for Sierra at the moment. She was making it seem like I had a real mental illness when I didn't. It bothered me that she acted like she knew what she was doing but she never tried to understand what I was trying to tell her.
