Provocation

Staying inside the igloo with the crying Shirogane, Kira could still hear the conversation going on outside. 
"What's this , igloo building? Is Rocma playing with the kids?~" Idate teased . Kira could hear him take another puff of his cigarette. 
"Leave you bastard Orca," Rocma growled violently through gritted teeth.
Kira was trying to comfort and calm down Shirogane, and although it was a bit cramped from Shirogane randomly throwing himself into the igloo, she moved as best as she could and looked out the entrance of the igloo.
"Oh come on Rocma, you really should be a little nicer. Look at all the kids around.~" Idate drawled. He smiled in a way that made Rocma even more irritated.
Rocma waved her hand at the kids as if telling them to go and without taking her eyes of Idate shouted "Peraco, take Mafuyu and the others and go. Now!"
Peraco , picking up her siblings and Mafuyu picking up another said "G-got it! But what about Kira?!" Peraco said panicking a bit.
"Just go! Now! " Rocma yelled. "Kira and the bonehead are in the igloo," thought Rocma. 
"If they come out now , they might not get away in time and if the kids waited for them they would've been in danger too. I have to get Idate away from them, they might get caught in the fight..."
"Hm? What's wrong Rocma, you nervous or something? Why aren't you attacking?" Idate said while smiling. Still smiling he looked over at the igloo with narrowed eyes.
"Or maybe, your hiding something that you don't want me to see? Maybe there's someone in that igloo over there? Hm?"
From the inside of the igloo, Shirogane sharply inhaled and stopped crying and breathing altogether. Although the crying had stopped, he was shaking violently and Kira figured that she should probably be quiet based on the situation.
"You trash, leave. Why are you here?" Rocma growled. She normally would've bashed his head in, but because of Kira and the dog, she didn't want to take any chances. The last time something like this happened, Kira seemed to hold off well enough on her own(sending a flying kick at Idate anyways) but there was a chance that she wouldn't be able to do it again and with Shirogane around they might both get hurt. Rocma was angry. She was spending time with her daughter and the newcomer and the bastard had to come and put everyone in danger.
Idate nonchalantly dropped his finished cigarette and fished out another one, lighting it.
With a puff of smoke he spoke again, the smug tone of his voice still there.
"Well, you see I was casually smoking my cigarettes as usual and then I saw a really funny sight. My plaything was out on a boat trying  while his little bird friend was shouting at him from land. " He started mimicking Yukisada's voice in comical fashion.
"Shirogane, I have a bad feeling about this! Come back , it's dangerous Shirogane! You might get hurt!" he mimicked, also making comical gestures and movements to go along with his fake Yukisada voice. Idate looked like he was about to laugh, his smug grin growing wider as he held his cigarette and took another breath. His voiced then changed as he started mimicking Shirogane , also using a comically apathetic voice as to indicate a person trying to sound cool. 
"It'll be fine, I'm ok with it. I'm not a coward." 
Shirogane stiffened after hearing Idate's reenactment of him. His shaking stopped but it looked like he was about to cry again. Idate cleared his throat and smoked his cigarette again.
"Seriously. It was hilarious, so I decided to go and play with them~" Idate laughed.
Rocma's scowl deepened. "What did you do to them? Where's Yukisada?"
"Well, I did say I was going to play with them. The bird somehow got away while I was targeting his friend, it was a sight, crying and shouting while the wolf was frozen in fear. Well, I decided it would be fun to mess with him first, since he was so concerned about his friend anyways. The wolf would just come to me if I messed with his friend , you should've seen his face when I grabbed the birds neck. Absolutely priceless!" 
Shirogane shook with tears, regret and anger while inside the igloo. 
"It's all my fault," he said in a strained voice. "Yukisada told me not to go but I was so stupid."
From outside, Idate carried on. "It worked perfectly! The wolf came over crying out for his friend. It would've been easy to eat them both, but that would've been boring. Instead," Idate pointed a finger at Rocma. "I thought about you~" Idate flashed a smirk.
Rocma looked incredibly disgusted.
"It would've been boring if I just killed them right there, so I was expecting you to come and liven it up a bit like you usually do. But you didn't. So I let the wolf get away and as expected, he led me to you."
Rocma glared at the igloo before looking back at Idate. 
"So what? What are you going to do now?" she growled.
" I never expected you to be playing and making cute little igloos~. I bet you were having a lot of fun playing with the girls weren't you? Why don't I come and play too? I wonder where that new resident went, she didn't seem like the type of person to reject an invitation and I'm sure the kids would've loved to play with her. Where's my cowardly little plaything? He couldn't have made it far either~."
Rocma looked enraged, but she didn't say anything.
Idate looked over at the igloo and smiled.
"It's not like they could be hiding in there right? That would be stupid." 
The smoke wisps disappeared in the air as he continued smoking.
"Well," he took a step in the igloos direction. "They are idiots after all."
He took another step and Rocma attacked.
