The Android's systems began running again, and her eyes fluttered open.

Start-up complete

She felt a damp cloth against her synthetic skin. She was laying on the ground, the same spot where she had been temporarily shut down. Elijah was sitting next to her, gently cleaning her blood stained skin. When she moved her hands, he looked up at her, and smiled.

"You started yourself up. That's something normal Androids can't do."
A small smirk played on her face.
"Well I'm not just a normal Android, you know."

He looked up at her, his faced an amused expression.

"I know."
He smirked too, and the Android felt her blood starting to rush to her face. God, she hoped he didn't see the blue blush on her face. With the smirk on his face, he continued gently wiping the damp cloth over her waist, which was stained with her own blood. The view wasn't a nice one, and neither was the red, human blood on her hands.

That's when the guilt hit her again.

"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done it, I shouldn't have come here, I'm only bothering you."
"Sssh." He sushed her, and moved to her hands, to clean the blood off of them.
"I'm very happy you're back, okay? And maybe you haven't recovered all of your memories, but you already remember so much. Eventually those will recover too, I know it."
Elijah smiled gently, just like she remembered his smile.

"And now shut up and lift up your hand for me, please." She smiled, lifting her hand up, gently placing it in his.
"Yes Elijah."

His name rolled of her tongue, making him blush in his turn.

She had murdered five humans, but that reality seemed to disappear in thin air with Elijah's ensuring and comforting words. He was damn good at it. And she could not agree less.
