Jimin slammed the loud screeching alarm clock that stood beside his bed. He groaned as he pushed himself of his bed and rubbed the dirt off his eyes as he stood up. He heard a very faint thud when he had gotten up. Jimin glanced towards the thud realizing his favorite plushie had landed on the floor.
"Moonie!" Jimin shouted, now wide awake. He rushed towards the crescent moon plush who had a smiling face stitched in the middle. "I just cleaned you yesterday," Jimin whined, patting off any dust particles that a human eye can see. Jimin had loved this plush ever since his mother gave it to him. Seeing that Jimin was already 22 years old, the plush had began ripping at the edges every now and then. This resulted in Jimin learning from his mother a new profound sewing skill where his mother had always sewn back the plush as it was newly bought. Jimin eventually inherited the skill seeing as he wanted to take care of it.
"If only we had your friend here too," Jimin sighed, placing the plush back onto his bed. The plush Jimin received as a gift was only one of the two from the Sun and Moon set. The sun plushie that was part of the other set was made just to fit perfectly between the crescent of the moon. Sadly, even though Jimin as a 6 year old had dearly wanted the other plush, it had already been sold out before his family could reach it.
Jimin went on towards the bathroom where he succeeded in his morning routine: face wash, teeth-brushing, and hair styling. After completing said routine, Jimin shuffles across the bedroom where there laid three pots of cacti. He stared at them carefully and observingly to the point where it would make cacti uncomfortable. After eyeballing his dear plants, Jimin watered them carefully enough to not spill any water on his wooden floor.
Once done, Jimin finishes his morning as he got dressed in his work uniform wearing a white collared shirt paired with black jeans where the shirt had been tucked snuggly in.
He grabs his bag from the beanie chair in his room where it had been thrown onto many times, his keys that where on his dresser, and his wallet under his pillow. Jimin was always very cautious when it came to money so he subconsciously hides it where it would be close to him.
After collecting everything he needed, Jimin locked his door before leaving towards the subway. He jogged down the stairs reaching the entrance where he as well as many other citizens who were around him placed their transit card onto the scanning gaining a beep from the machine. Jimin moves past the bars after the beep and jogged down another flight of stairs to where his train was.
Arriving just on time, Jimin descended down the stairs, speed walking towards the sliding doors that had started opening. Seeing that it was the usual busy mornings, Jimin had to squish in between people, apologizing and bowing every moment he can. Maybe even accidentally hitting someone's, specifically a male's, sensitive area due to how crowded the train was. Jimin heard a very silent but yet audible groan when he had done so. Naturally Jimin would've said sorry and of course he did.
"Please be careful," said the man, who had a deep voice but yet soft. Due to how crowded it was, Jimin was not able to see his face as he could not turn around in his position so all he could do was give a nod back.
Awkwardly, Jimin shifted, trying hard not to get too close to the doors as it can lead to harm and rested his arm against the train walls. He was surrounded by many business workers as well as other adults. Jimin checks his phone seeing he still had 30 minutes til his shift begins meaning he had enough time for breakfast this time. Jimin made sure to secure his bag on his chest so it was more unlikely for someone to pickpocket him. He knew now after facing through his own tragic accident having been stolen his paycheck as well as the tips he earned from his customers. Knowing to never let this slip again, he has his bag tightly wrapped around his chest so his eyes were in clear view of an arm reaching out for a zipper.
After 10 minutes of standing, the doors of the train open at the stop Jimin anticipated and hopped of the train as soon as it slides open. As Jimin exited the train, he was followed by many others seeing as his stop was a busy city. Exiting the subway, Jimin walks towards a convenience store that was right next to the cafe he worked at. There he bought some ramen, a samgak gimbap, and kimchi to eat for breakfast.
"It'll be ₩11,000," the cashier says after beeping the items and placing them aside. Jimin gives the amount and takes the food towards the seating area. He added the hot water into the ramen and waited for it to cook as he started eating the samgak gimbap. After a few minutes, the ramen was ready and Jimin continued to eat until he was fully finished with everything.
Throwing the trash, Jimin finally reaches his workplace and started his day with the bright lighting and the smell of coffee and baked sweets.
