The fluffy light crawls right through the cracks of the curtains that were dancing so slowly against the walls from the window. Jimin had been exhausted since yesterday from completing all those orders that lead him to forget and leave his windows open. He groaned, half asleep, rubbing his puffy eyes as his vision adjusted like camera lens focusing.
Leaving his bed, Jimin does his morning routine, not that anyone needed any details from it. Deciding he needed some Vitamin D from the lovely Sun whom provided so much for the Earth and its inhabitants, Jimin got dressed and left with the thought of meeting Yoongi at his workplace. No, it did not occur to Jimin that it was a bit too early to visit him and it also did not occur to him that the weather had been so gloomy.
Forgetting everything about Yoongi, Jimin finally comes back to Earth, and realizes he had not been nearly drenched. It was too late to go back to his apartment as he had already passed the security gates. His impulsivity and his airheadness is what makes him attractive to others, in a way that cannot he explained. His phone which had slid nicely and comfortably in his jean pocket, found its way into the quite small hand of Jimin's. He scrolled through social media pages and checking the weather once in a while, hoping with every inch of his body that he did not need to buy an umbrella to keep himself safe from the sickening disease named the cold. Undoubtedly, South Korea is going through its monsoon season which meant money loss for Jimin.
Jimin, uncomfortably still wet, only now noticed the amount of eyes that stared at him. School girls whispered to one another, either giggling or just drooling. Elderly men scoff at the boy, muttering hoe sick he would get from the rain.
As the train came to the stop, Jimin hurriedly exited out through the still opening doors and ran through the security gates and up the long flights of stairs, only to be greeted be thunderous rain. At first, Jimin hesitated on whether or not he should make a run for it, knowing the proximity from the station to the record store was to be quite close. Of course, in the end, Jimin's stubbornness of meeting and possibly exchanging contact of "Hello" and "Oh, I'm sorry, can you help find this record for me?" brought him running towards the store at lightning speed.
Finally there, he hid under the roof for a while, moving around to dry and dry himself. "Jimin you idiot," He growled to himself, wringing his shirt and shaking his pants in hopes for the drops of water to end its movements of gliding down his pants. He'd probably looked like an idiot at that point which caused him to end his quirky movements and slowly open the door to the record store, hoping they wouldn't kick him out for being drenched.
Luckily they didn't. "Welcome to Galaxy Record Store, if you need any help or have any questions, you can come back here and I'll gladly help," a bright and youthful looking man smiled cheerfully at Jimin, making Jimin want to smile just as cheerfully as well. Of course he did.
As soon as Jimin walked near the back of the store, he nearly teared up as he tried his best not to curse. Yoongi probably had a day off. In memory for his bravery of running all through the rain with no umbrella whatsoever, Jimin rewarded himself with a record which he had no record player to use for but he bought it anyways. He said his goodbye to the bright clerk and made his way back from where he came from.
