Jimin had worked as a barista for around 2 years already. This meant his coffee making skills were excelling each coffee he made. Many people came to this specific cafe knowing how well made the coffee is. Also with the add on of the barista being a very good looking man. Jimin had many fangirls that basically gave him his day's pay everyday.

"Jimin! Jimin! What's today's special?" One of the fangirls asked, jumping in excitement.

Jimin smiles politely before replying, "It's café au lait today."

"I'll have one!" Shouted a girl in line which then caused the rest of the customers to want one too.

"You're really giving us customers," Hoseok, Jimin's coworker, chuckled. "I'm not complaining though, the manager loves it and gives us extra pay."

"Aren't you the one bringing the customers. With your looks, even guys stare at awe at you," Jimin rolled his eyes.

Hoseok playfully smacks Jimin's arm before getting back to work. Jimin follows and continues to run through the register as well as the orders. Although so many others were excited over either Jimin's fan service or his actual barista skills, Jimin himself is excited for someone specifically.

As Jimin continuously worked from taking orders to making the orders, he also made sure to keep watch of the door. He anticipated the very person who soon stepped through the white framed glass door. It was a man who worked at a record store across the street. Jimin, making accidental eye contact since he had been staring at the door majority of his work hours, awkwardly smiled and welcomed him. The man then smiled back, not as awkward as Jimin had.

"Jimin who're you smiling at?" One of the fangirls asked, putting her face closer to his.

"I'm just greeting the customer," Jimin replied, glancing at the man at the back of the line who seems to be oblivious of what's going on at the front. "If you can, please order quickly since its busy hours right now. You've been here for about 7 minutes," Jimin sighed, trying his best to keep his polite image. The girl pouted before giving in and ordering something from the menu. Finally, she left and sat with her friends.

Jimin tried his best to take orders faster so he could converse with record store man. Although they never knew each other's name, well besides the man since Jimin's name tag was pinned on his apron, Jimin would have very teensy weensy small talk with record store man. Jimin would bring up records and record store man would bring up coffee. Each had an interest in each other's specialty.

When the man reached the front, Jimin was lucky enough to find out that currently, there were no other customers in line so he could talk as much as he wanted to.

"Good morning," Jimin chimed, giving off his eye smile.

"Good morning," the man replied, pushing his hair away to take a closer look at the menu.

A bit disappointed that the man didn't make eye contact with him this time, he continued to ask, "What would you like today?"

This question brought the man's attention, his eyes peeking up. "It's always up to you, you make the best coffee in town," the man smiles.

Jimin, flustered by the compliment started stumbling with a small cup of newly brewed coffee. "I've been trying to master this for a while. Although it's not today's special, I'd like you to be the first to try," Jimin brings the cup of coffee towards the man, hoping he'd take it.

"I'm trusting you," he teased as he took the cup out of Jimin's hands. As soon as the man took a sip, his eyes brightened and of course drank the whole cup in one big sip. "What is this? It's delicious!"

Jimin, happy to find out that the man enjoyed his experiment answered, "It's an affogato, I wasn't sure if I was making it correctly since I only glanced at the recipe so I can add my own twist to it."

The man vigorously shook his head. He was not about to back down, "No, trust me. This is so delicious I can't even describe it in words."

Happy, Jimin continued to ask about records and music and everything he knows and needs to know about music. While the man asked about coffee brewing, coffee beans, and different cake recipes. Of course, they were only able to converse for so long until the man had to get back to work. Every single time they had talked, Jimin always remembered to ask for his name when it was too late.

Jimin himself was scared to go to the record store even though he accidentally broke his record player the other day. Which is why he had always anticipated for the record store man to come to him.

Once Jimin had completed his shift, Jimin walked back to the convenience store and bought some dinner for himself. Jimin barely knew about baking cakes from Hoseok which is why cakes are the only thing Jimin can make. Otherwise, Jimin is horrible at cooking which is why he relies on convenience food.

Finishing the last noodle from his ramen bowl, Jimin threw away his trash and continued back towards where he came from. To the train station, onto the train, to his home, and back inside his house. Unlocking his door, the first thing he did was throw his shoes off and immediately jumped onto the bed. Today was absolutely too busy for him and fired him out.

Jimin looked at his stuffed moon plush and brought it in to his chest. "If only you can find your other half," Jimin whispered, slowly falling asleep after a tiring day of work but yet blissful for the amount of time Jimin and the record store man were together.
