(So i've been purposely leaving Harry out of the story to make it more dramatic when you see him, hah, xx)
Eleanor's Pov:
I drop Alexis off at the hotel, lingering at the front door and make sure she gets in the lift safely. It seems highly unlikely that someone would come and kidnap her in the time it takes to get from the front door to the lift, but you never know.
It's already ten after eight, I decide just to head to the convenience store for some ice cream, and then just watch television all night. I turn to head towards my car, but someone grabs my arm. Without thinking, I turn around and punch the guy in the jaw.
"Ow El it's only me," Louis complains, rubbing his jaw ruefully.
"Oh my gosh i'm so sorry," I say sheepishly.
"It's fine, I shouldn't have snuck up on you like that," he chuckles.
"What?" I grin.
"Nothing. I'm just happy you can defend yourself if you have to," he smirks.
"Right, so why are you here?" I change the subject.
"Helping Harry," he holds up a slip of paper in his hand.
"Oh," I don't question the note. I'm not going to get more involved in whatever these boys are up to.
"So what are you doing here?" He tucks a strand of hair behind my head and i laugh.
"Dropping off the acquired target."
He widens his eyes, "She's here already?"
I nod, "And where has Harry been? I haven't seen him, so much as talked to him."
He chuckles, "That lad is too lovestruck to talk to anyone."
I raise my eyebrows and he shakes his head, "He treated Alexis poorly in the past, now he feels like he has to make up for it."
Harry treating a girl poorly? That's something you don't hear everyday. He's usually so respectful of women.
"But Harry's usually respectful of women," I voice my thoughts.
"Yeah, but Alexis is different," he chuckles.
"I guess so," I shake my head. There's so much i missed.
"Listen, I have to go finish this for Harry, but do you want to hang out later tonight?"
I nod, "That sounds nice, I was just going to pick up a pint of Ben and Jerry's and watch some television. I'm pretty knackered."
"I'll join you," he grins, kissing my cheek. "I'll turn on something nice, meet me in my room?"
I nod, "See you then."
He grins, twisting the paper between his fingers, "See you."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The clock on the microwave blinks 10:02, I was running on time, so i bend down and pick up the paper. This couldn't have been here before i came home. Unless i missed it, which i don't think i would have. I flip the note over I see the familiar script and stationary.
Alexis, if you are reading this, than that means Louis did his job, and I owe him one. One thing I love about you is your eyes. When I look into your eyes, I find that I can't look away. They are like deep oceans and I forget how to swim. Since there's no oceans here in Louisiana, i'm afraid the closest thing is that massive fountain in the middle of the town. If you follow the directions, i'll see you soon.. xx -H
I grin stupidly at the note, rereading it a few times before tucking it, along with the first note, into my pocket.
What is he up to? I wonder as I shut the door and make my way towards the elevator. I press the 'call' button and within seconds, the doors open and I step inside.
