"You've been an incredible audience!" Louis shouts to the excited crowd.
I sigh and ease out of my seat, grunting like a baby dinosaur when I stretch.
"GOOD NIGHT HOUSTON!" Harry shouts.
I'm seeing what the audience is seeing on the massive screens. The
boys wave, turn around and run back through the stage doors and the
screen fades to black.
I comb through my hair with my fingers and adjust my shirt, waiting
for the boys to show up.
I see them all sprinting my way. I raise my head and smile at them,
but they're looking past me.
"That was a gr-," I'm about to compliment the group, when someone,
Liam, grabs my wrist roughly and I'm being pulled along with them.
"Hey!" I pull my hand away but keep up the pace.
"We have to hurry to our bus, before the fans get to it," Liam pants
and speeds up to the rest of the boys.
"GUYS WAIT!" I start to panic.
I've never been a fast runner. I can hold my own in a 50yard sprint,
but the bus has to be at least 200 yards, and I find myself growing
further and further away from the boys.
"Come on Lexi!" They all encourage me from the entrance of the bus.
I don't have the energy to respond, I just run as fast as my short
legs will carry me.
"Lexi HURRY!" Zayn shouts.
In the corner of my eye I can just make out the running silhouettes
on the side of the building.
"Shit," I mutter. I can literately hear the piercing screams behind me.
I tare into the dirt, nearing the bus ... but so are the fans. I can
hear them catching up to me.
I slam against the railing to the bus and scramble up the steps.
"Nice job fattie," Harry whispers as he slams the doors shut behind me.
I roll my eyes. So he's back to his usual, arrogant self.
The bus driver slams his foot on the gas and the bus lurches forward.
None of us are in our seatbelts, or sitting down for that matter, and
I accidently slam into Niall.
"Careful!" He grins at me.
I blush, suddenly remembering what happened on stage.
"Sorry," I say, only it comes out as a whisper.
I clear my throat, "Sorry," I say again a little bit louder.
We all take our seats, Louis and Liam stay standing to wave to the
daring fans that follow the bus.
After about a minute, no more fans are in sight, and Louis and Liam
take their seats on the couch.
"Well that was exciting," Zayn smirks.
"Almost thought they were gonna tear us to pieces," Liam chuckles.
