Evie walked into an all too familiar building. She knew this was bound to happen and she really dreaded the thought. She slowly made her way to her doom.

"Deary, we don't have all day," the receptionist quipped. "Move it along. Fairy Godmother is waiting."

"Yes ma'am," Evie said, scurrying down the hall. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door to Fairy Godmother's office. She knocked softly.

"Come in." Fairy Godmother called from inside.

Evie sheepishly walked in. "Before you say anything, I am so sorry I told Jane about her father, when you explicitly told me not to! But Jane was so upset and I felt that she needed to know but I betrayed your trust in me and I feel like an awful person right now. So I fully understand if you were to punish me and be disappointed in me. So I'm ready for my punishment."

Fairy Godmother chuckled. "Oh sweetheart that is not why I called you down. And you're forgiven. It was my fault for keeping a secret from Jane in the first place. It was unfair of me to make you keep something you didn't want to keep. For that I apologize."

"So, you're not mad?"

"Oh heavens yes! But at myself. I hope you forgive me."

"Of course!" Evie smiled. "But if I'm not in trouble , why did you call me down?"

Fairy Godmother smiled. "Because you have been chosen as a candidate for a prestigious scholarship from the University of Corona."

Even gasped. "But that's one of the most prestigious schools in the world. I thought that it was practically impossible to get accepted. I've heard so much about it!"

"And they've apparently heard a lot about you as well. Based on your grades, volunteer work, and extracurriculars, they feel that you may be a a great addition to their school. Are you interested?"

"Of course I am!" Evie exclaimed. "This is amazing! Have they ever offered this scholarship to anyone from Auradon Prep before?"

"No. This is the first time in Auradon Prep history that a student has received this offer," Fairy Godmother explained. "This is quite big for our school. Here are the documents you need to fill out. I will sign them as your guardian while you are in Auradon. After your grades from first semester are turned in, your application will be complete. You probably won't find out if you're accepted until February."

Evie took the folder from Fairy Godmother's hands. "This is so exciting."

"I wish you the best of luck."

Evie got up from her chair and exited Fairy Godmother's office.

"Wait until I tell Doug!"

Audrey groaned in frustration. She was bored out of her mind. Her friends were off helping Chad with his party and she was bed bound. Her parents had finally gone home and she was much relieved. Her mother's hounding about Jay and her was irritating. She couldn't understand why her mother was so persistent with the topic, considering how her father whole heartedly disapproved if the idea.

She sighed. She knew he would. Her father wanted her to marry someone who could help take over his kingdom. Not necessarily a prince, but definitely not Jay. Not that it mattered to her.

Oh who was she kidding? Of course it mattered to her. Jay was a nice guy and she had pushed him away. But it was for the best. He would understand. Hopefully.

Audrey jumped at the sound of a knock at the door. "Come in," she said.

Lonnie peaked her head through the door. "You busy?"

Audrey rolled her eyes. "Yes I'm swamped with task. But I can make time for you."

Linnie giggled. "I know you're bed bound and I figured you might be a little lonely up here."
