"Hi Riley, I'm Andrew." He said as a loving smile spreads across his face. I feel safe with him. I then jump into his arms as I hear a loud noise. It scared me, it sounds like when my mother, or father would get mad at me.
Andrew chuckles as he hugs me back. "Hello little one, I'm Ryland. That's Shane, Morgan, And Garrett." He says as he points to each person. "Hi" I say quietly, still a little scared. "Did I scare you?" Garrett asks me. I nod slowly. At this point Andrew is holding me while standing.
Ryland takes me out of his arms and holds me like I'm a baby. "It's ok we won't hurt you" His smile make me feel like he's the father I never had. "Oh, there you are Riley" Grandma walks in. Ryland puts me down. "Hi grandma" I say with a smile. They all 'aw' at me.
"Shane can she stay with you? I don't have enough room." Grandma asks "Of course, I'll treat her like a daghter" He says as he puts me on his hip. But then they notice my scars. "What happened to her?" Morgan asks. Grandma tells them.
Garrett takes me out of Shane's arm and starts crying while hugging me. I soon start tapping on his shoulder signaling I need to breath. He puts me down. I run to Andrew as I hear thunder. I hug his leg, until he picks me up. "What's wrong" "I'm scared" I say as a tear runs down my cheek.
Andrew wipes it away, and then signals everyone into a group hug.
