The Squad & The Child

1 year!

It has been one lovely year with the squad. And Riley was now six.

The year was going great, Riley was now in school, and had made many new friends! Ryland eventually let up with his strict shopping tendencies.

Moving into their new house was a bit of a challenge. But, it all turned out ok.

Riley, slept with All three of their pets. She was so happy with her new family, that when she was in any of their videos, she was at her happiest.

It was eight in the morning, and Ryland was getting ready for the party. The squad was getting ready (with the help of Teresa) for a party for her.

They invited everyone, Jeffery, Ricky Dylan, her friends, everyone. Riley did not know about it, so it was hard for everyone to keep it a secret. Especially, Andrew.

She still kept her nicknames for everyone, she gave everybody a nick name. After meeting Jeffery for the first time, she started calling him 'Makeup Mom'.

Jeffery found it adorable. Even Nate had one.

So, as both Shane and Riley slept on Shane, and Ryland's bed after a late (9:30 is as late as she's allowed to stay up) night of cuddles, and movies. Ryland made sure everything was perfect.

Riley was currently swaddled in a blanket that Jeffery got her for her birthday. It had pictures of Riley's early days with the family.

She cried when she saw it. Everyone started crying. Riley's parents stayed in touch, but, refused to come too the party. They thought that it would be better for their daughter to forget about them. They cried when they explained.

Ryland had everything ready, and everyone was there. He walked up the stairs to hear giggling and laughing from inside he room. He then heard Shane singing terribly. Ryland giggled, and opened the door.

The singing, and giggles stopped. And Ryland frowned.

Riley jumped off the bed and ran to her second dad. "Mornin' Dad!!" The now a little bigger babygirl smiled up at him, and grabbed his hand.

Ryland smiles down at her, "We have a surprise for you." Ryland glanced up at Shane who was visibly nervous.

"You do?" The small child asked looking behind her to get Papa's nod of approval. She got a nod and a smile.

She smiled and jumped into Ryland's arms, " Let's go!!".

Ryland grabbed Shane's hand and lead them down to the kitchen. Riley was bouncing in Rylands arms. The animals were following close to Ryland's feet. Riley was one of their favorite people.

Riley treared up as she saw everyone. And started bawling when Andrew took her into his arms.

The rest of the day was filled with fun, and the others filming for a vlog. A lot of love and affection was passed around.

That night after all Riley's friends left, the rest of them stayed to have a sleepover. Even Bunny was there.

Everyone crowded into Shane, and Ryland's room, and either set up camp on blow up mattresses, or a couch that was brought into the room.

They all cuddled up and watched movies, and talked. Riley was surrounded by love, and she was sure that this was going to be the best day ever.

And she was sure to remember it, so many pictures and videos were taken.
