The type of dragon that Acnologia is in this story is a dark/ethernano (A/N that is incorrect spelling) dragon meaning he can devour ethernano that is in the air and he can devour "dark" magic this ranges from Zeref's curse of Ankhseram (A/N gives him his immortality but if he starts valuing life the curse kills everything around him and if his starts to not value life there is no spiral cloud of death) to evil magic in general. Yes, I know that he was original a dragon slayer but in this story he was always a dragon.
