(Lucy POV)

"So where have you been for the last seven years, Father," I asked the blue haired man as we walked through the streets of Crocus.

"I wandered here and there," he told me with a smile.

"Do you see anything interesting," I asked him.

"Well after I left Tenrou Island, I headed over the mountains of Seven, then to the cold country of Iceberg, I stay there for a few months and when I got tired of the cold I visited my friend in Stella." Father told me, "After staying there for a year helping him with a problem that he was having with his crystals, I flew over to the rich nation of Joya, to the deserts of Desierto, I visited a few acquaintances of mine that lived in that region, apparently they were having trouble with some wannabe dragon slayers, I thought that they had to be kidding  but it turns out that those wannabes had access to some really powerful magic and they were true scoundrels in the words of those leotard men from that train ride to Acalypha to visit you mother's old guild." I laughed when I remembered that event though that was one of few times I wished that I didn't have a dragon's sense of smell. "They had no honor and they fought dirty so I could understand why they had some trouble, after I handled that matter I flew to Minstrel and enjoyed the scenery for a year or two as I search for a dragon nursery that I knew was there, I visited the old dragon that watched over the hatchlings while the dragon parents worked in a the dragon village there, I stayed there for a few months and walked to Midi, where I flew to the largest island of Enca, I wandered the land til I arrived at a mountain there I took of to Caelum where I heard of their beautiful skies, I stayed there for a year then I flew across the sea to Fiore once again to see if you had returned, when I had you hadn't I flew across the sea over Joya once again and headed to the Pergrande Kingdom." He continued to tell me.

"And what did you do there," I asked him, he looked at my smiling face and smiled as well as he continued to tell me of his adventures.

"I knew a pack of dragons who lived in the outskirts of one of the cities there," he told me, "I went to see their leader, I had promised her that I would have dinner with her sometime before I met you and we talked about old times before the dragons of Fiore were forced to live in human form though out the other countries  of Earthland, she was thinking that she and her pack could build a village at the foot of Mt. Hakobe, I told that she should build it in a valley I saw once in my travels, she declined that idea then I told her that if she wanted it to be at Mt Hakabe she should at least build the nursery and some of the village in the valley, I knew that it is hard to reach without the aid of wings and it would hide the dragon features of the village and then they won't have the same problem as my friends as Desierto did with those wannabes."

"Did she agree, are the dragons coming back," I asked him.

"She did, and she then told me that she was also make a few more smaller villages that are connected to the same part of the village in the valley just under a different name. She was think that the dragons from all the different packs share the nursery to hatch our young and then we would raise them in the part of the valley in the valley until they can hide their powers well enough to not attract to much attention. She was also talking about finding some of the other members of the Heartfilias but that would require the Matriarch of the family to call them out." He told me.

"And the last Matriarch was my mother," I told him even though he already knew that.

"Yes, and while they do know that you are with me, they won't listen to you unless you announce yourself as the Matriarch, but this is still in the making, they are only just planning things out. She was planning on each town to be named after the pack or have the pack decide on the name of the town. They are still going to separate the packs for each other so that they don't start fighting, but she has had talks with the other packs that are in all of the other counties. She told them that she was doing to make the leader of each pack the mayor of their town and if they run out of space around the mountain they will use the mountain range that acts a border between Fiore and Seven. Each of the mayors will act as a council member that will met every month to make big decisions and discuss problems, I already reserved a spot for Igneel's pack and myself in the East forest that nearby the mountain. Since I am the Patrinarch of the Heartfilias since I am the ancestor of the current Matriarch, I have been named the King of Dragons, I can see my father laughing at me now." He continued, "Well this is only just starting they have only have the nursery built and some of the homes made and they still need a representative to handle the Magic Council and all that but over all I think that what she as going on it a good idea. After our chat was finished I wished her luck and that I would support her best I could."

"So when am I going to have to become Matriarch," I asked him.

"Not until we have the village for the Heartfilias built, I had talked to the Exceed queen with this idea and asked her if some of her subjects were willing they can have their own section in the village to provide travel to the nursery and the village in the valley if that doesn't work we would have to get some of our blizzardvern cousins to provide transportation, but this is talk for another time."

"What happened next," I asked him trying to change the subject.

"Well after my talk with my friend in the Pergrande Kingdom I stay with her for a few years to help her plan this project. After a while, I told her that I needed to continue my journey and if she ever needs my help she knows how to call me. I headed over to the pack in Bellum who were almost caught up in another civil war of the country, I told them of the plans of the village at Mt Hakobe and they immediately flew over to the Pergrande Kingdom to help with the plans. After that I flew to the caves of the mountains bordering Fiore and when I felt your presence again I headed here." He told me.

"You have had so many adventures, Father," I told him, he smiled.

"Yes I have," he told me.
