She created black butterflies from her power, then she did some moves which impressed Nick so much. He clapped as it was a show, then Linsey went up to him, reaching out for his hand, so he grabbed it. She smiled at him and started floating with him above the ground. He quickly grabbed her hand with both hands as he looked down and realized what was happening.

"Don't drop me," he said with clear fear in his voice as he looked back into Linsey's eyes.

"I would never do that." she chuckled, then gently put him back down on the ground because she figured it was enough for him.

"So what are you exactly?" asked Nick once Linsey was standing beside him on the ground too.

"I'm a witch. But not the evil ones, like in those stupid fairytales, you know." she smiled. "I only use my power if it's necessary."

They sat back down and now Linsey turned to him, looking at him with curious eyes. Until this point, Nick knew everything about Linsey, but she hadn't asked him anything yet. So she felt it was her turn to do the asking.

"Now it's your turn to tell me something about yourself." she smiled and Nick leaned against the tree.

"Well... where should I start? I was born in England, from an English mother and an Irish father."

"Really?" asked Linsey with excitement in her voice and it caught Nick's attention. "Daddy is Irish too."

"Really? Wow, this is super cool." he smiled at her.

"Okay, go on," she said, chuckling and putting her chin in her hands, looking at him with the same curiosity.

"I have a brother, but he is 30 now, so he is living his life in London. We moved here because my parents got a better job. And let's just say, my first day in school wasn't really good. Not that in my other school it was any better." Nick paused at that memory and he sighed looking at the ground in front of him.

"What do you mean?" asked Linsey.

"I was the school's nerd, you know the boy who loves physics, math and these types of things; the computer geek with weird glasses and braces, who was made fun out of by everybody," said Nick, hugging his knees and placing his chin on them.

"Have you ever thought about wearing contact lenses?" Linsey asked trying to lighten the mood, but Nick just scoffed.

"My uncle used them once, but he hurt himself when he tried to take them out, so he is half-blind now," he said, looking at Linsey. "I'm afraid of those a little bit. It's stupid I know, but I just can't make myself do it."

"Let me see you without the glasses," she said as she crawled in front of her and sat on her heels.

She grabbed the glasses, taking them off of his head and placing them on the ground beside herself. He looked at her, smiling shy when Linsey gasped, looking into his bright blue eyes. She was completely taken aback by those vibrant blue orbs, reminding her of the clear summer sky.

"You look.... your eyes are more visible and.... you look good." she started not really knowing how to form the words because she didn't know if Nick would feel the same way she had been feeling since the minute they met.

"Thanks." he smiled blinking a few times and smiling shyly. "But I can't see anything."

"Maybe I can help." her eyes lit up to the thought of healing his eyes.

"How?" asked Nick, while Linsey moved closer sitting now between Nick's legs as he let them stretch out on the ground again.

"Close your eyes and try to relax. You're gonna have a little headache, but keep calm and relaxed, okay?" she said reassuringly.
