Chapter Four

Marinette's POV

"I have to go, Tikki! Paris needs me!!" I begged.

Once again, Paris was under the attack of one of Hawkmoth's akumas. Even though my wounds were still healing and creating an enormous amount of pain, I still needed to get into action.

"Marinette! You can't fight! You're still in uneasy condition. They just got you stitched up, the stitches could pop out," Tikki said.

I sighed, accepting the truth. She was right, what would I have done?

"You're right.. but I at least need to let Chat know."

Tikki looked worried. "Are you sure you want to do the transformation?"

I smiled. "It'll hurt just a little, but don't worry. I'll take it easy."

Chat Noir's POV

I bounced through the air, Rena Rogue fighting beside me (Rena helps them a lot, if not all the time). Lasers shooting left and right, it was quite hard to avoid them.

"I am Techno Trouble! Surrender and hand over your miraculous!" The neon looking character screamed.

"Where the hell is Ladybug?!" Rena yelled at me.

"I don't know, fall back and follow me!" I yelled, jumping back through buildings.

We reached an alley where we wouldn't be found. We both took a breath and right before we could say anything, I received a call. I pulled out my staff. It was Ladybug, I picked up immediately.

"Where are you??" I shouted loudly into the phone.

"Chat, I won't be able to make it. I'm on a secret mission the guardian sent me on," she said through the phone rather quickly.

"Wha—"

"Listen to me, call on the turtle and the bee miraculous to help you and Rena Rogue. All you need to do it press the paw button three times on your staff. It will send out a signal. The holders already have their miraculous, so you don't need to worry," Ladybug cut me off.

'Wait.. how did she know Rena was here?'

I shook my head.

"Okay.. can't Rena and I handle this on our own? Are you saying we're weak?" I replied defensively.

I heard her sigh through the phone.
"Chat, it's not that I think you and Rena can't handle it.. you just won't believe how difficult things can get without my lucky charm and de-evilizer. Also, just capture the akuma in some kind of a container until I get back. Can I trust you kitty?"

I sighed. Ladybug needed someone to rely on. I was going to be the lucky one.

"Yes m'lady. You can always trust me."

I could tell she was smiling through the phone.
"Good luck, Kitty."

I hung up and looked at the button on my staff. I pressed it three times and it sent out a powerful sound-wave that rattled Rena and I.

"The signal was set out, we should be getting help soon," I told her.

"There you are!" A booming voice came from above. Of course, the villain found us.

We quickly scampered to the rooftops and continued to fight again.

Not too long after, Carapace and Queen Bee hopped over the horizon. They dropped in and immediately began to do their job.

"Carapace, Queen Bee, Ladybug is out on a mission. We need to capture the akuma and keep it safe until she returns," I yelled, informing them.

"Got it!" They replied.

Finally, it came to an end. We had smashed the akumatized item and safely captured the akuma itself in a small jar. To be honest, I was very proud of all of us. Ladybug was right, we had never realized how much her lucky charm helped us.

"I think that's a good days work," I said with my arms behind my head.

"We're not done yet Chat."

I turned around to see all three of them standing at me, staring angrily. They were waiting for something. For an answer.

"So, whats the deal with that girl.. Marinette is it?" Rena Rogue said with an attitude.

Shit.. I was hoping this wouldn't come up. This wouldn't only, reveal the truth.. but my feelings for Princess as well.

Marinette's POV

I took a deep breath as I watched the news. "Oh.. good."

The superhero's of Paris had saved the day once again, without one of the most expected people. I turned off the TV as Nadia returned to her usual daily reports.

"I knew they could do it. I'm extremely proud of them.." I said to Tikki.

A knock came from the front door. I assumed it was a nurse. Tikki hid as usual and I spoke up.

"Come in."

When the door opened, it was nearly impossible to stay in bed. I had waited so long to see the pretty face I hadn't seen in weeks. The face with the pretty crystal blue eyes. The face with the full, thin lips. The face with the dyed blue hair drifting down in front of their eyes. The face connected to a boy who was holding beautiful colorful flowers.. just for me.

"Luka! Babe!"
