David's P.O.V

I was sitting on the couch with a drink Alex had handed Me when he started acting weird, he ran up to the window and seemed shocked at whatever he saw. "Hey dude what's wrong?" I asked while walking up, before I could do anything to there was loud banging at the door and we both shot our heads around toward the door. "You should go downstairs." Alex said while turning to look at me, "What? Why? Who is that?" I asked in confusion. Alex hesitantly said, "it's Todd, but he doesn't seem happy. I will take care of it." While pointing toward the stairs. I was about to say something when there was three more loud bangs on the door, so to make things quicker I ran down to the basement and sat on the mattress. I could easily hear them both above me so I stayed quiet. I could hear them talking for a second and then Todd alot louder than Alex. I quietly creeped up the stairs and peered around the corner to see what was happening. I saw Alex and Todd arguing but I couldn't tell what it was about, Todd then punched Alex in the jaw and he stumbled back. Todd turned around and slammed the door before driving off, I ran over to see if Alex was ok. "ALEX! What happened!?" I asked panicking, "he told me that someone said we were together and he got real pissed at me I guess." Alex said while laughing it off. "A-are you ok..?" I asked while taking a look at where he was hit. "I'm alright, just hurts a bit." He replied, there was a huge bruise on his face and that was about it. He sat on the couch and I sat next to him, "are you sure your ok? It looks really painful.." I asked. "Yeah I'm fine.. you worry alot don't you." Alex said while turning to me. I had never really thought about it but I guess I did worry too much, "ya I guess your right. I just dont know what I would do if anything happened to you." I said back. There was an akward pause of silence before Alex got on his phone. I got up and checked the time, "woah it's already 7:56" I should get home." I said while grabbing my bag and heading toward the door. I was stopped by Alex turning me around and hugging me before I left. I felt so happy to have him in my life and he made me feel complete. The only thing now is to confront Todd and to leave us both alone. When I got home I thought about stuff. Were me and Alex now considered a thing? Would he even consider us a thing? I don't even know about anything anymore. I decided to text Todd about all of this.

"Hey, I heard you got mad at Alex about something? What's up??"

"Someone told me that you guys were dating. Your not right?"

"What if we are? What does that matter?"

"Well if you are then we can't be friends anymore."

"What? Why? That's so stupid, I can date who I want"

"It's not important. Just don't text me anymore."

"Fine then, I won't"

That dick. Sometimes I wish I could just live my life without everyone getting upset about something. I turned my light off and right before I went to bed Alex texted.

"Hey did you wanna come to this party Dom invited me to? He said I could bring whoever I wanted"

"Of course!"

I texted back, it sounds pretty fun so I can't wait!
