Alex's P.O.V

I asked David to come with me to a party Dom is hosting and he said he would. I figured we would tell everyone about us at the party but what will our friends think? I hope they won't be upset or leave us because of this. All of these thoughts racing threw my head at the same time right before I heard a knock on the door. I got up to see who it was and it surprisingly was Dom. "Oh hey, what are you doing back already?" I ask very Confused, "I got home yesterday, anyone here right now?" Dom replied, "nope. Nobody has been here all day but me" I answered while letting him in. Dom jumped on the couch and Trying talking to me but my mind drifted off thinking about tonight, "hey Alex? You there?" Dom asked as I snapped back for a second, "y-yeah?" I stammer as I try to remember what he was talking about. "You seem a little out of it, is everything ok?" Dom asked while sitting up. I didn't know what to say so I just nodded my head, Dom got up and headed for the kitchen before mentioning the party, "so you got anybody to come with tonight?" He asked, "oh yeah! I'm bringing David along" I replied while walking up beside the fridge. Dom nodded before grabbing his phone and calling someone, I went back to my room and sat down on my bed to text David before Dom ran in and jumped down next to me. "Yo wanna head to McDonald's with me real quick?" Dom said while grabbing his keys, "sure i guess" I say while standing back up. We rushed to his car and drove off, the whole ride I was texting David asking him things like "how are you" and talking about the party before Dom noticed. "Who are you texting? Whoever it is must be important, you haven't put your phone down this whole drive." Dom stated while looking over at me, "it's David." I said while turning my phone off. Do chuckled a bit before looking back to the road, "do you have a thing for him or something?" He asked. I shot my head up and quickly replied with a no but I think he could tell I was lieing. As we approached the McDonald's drive thru he order himself a burger and I just got some fries. The party started at 7 and it was about 5:48 so I had some time to get ready before. We ate in the parking lot and when we finished he drove us to a gas station. When we got there don got out and walked into the store when I saw David walking by. I didn't know if I should call for him or just wait so I decided to keep my mouth shut and just watch him go. Dom returned to the car after grabbing what he needed and we went back to my place. He decided to go after dropping me off so he had time to prepare for the whole thing, so I was home alone again. I changed into something more fitting and waited for Zane to pick me up so we could go. When Zane finally showed up I asked for him to go pick up David as well so we drove down to do just that. When he got in he sat in the back with me and he looked great. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black ripped jeans, I couldn't help but admire how perfectly he dressed. It didn't take long before we made it to Dom's house saw everyones cars outside. When we got inside everyone greeted us but I noticed David was a little quiet which was a little weird for him. As I made way around the house and talked to a few people, I could tell David seemed really uncomfortable being here and walked outside so I followed him. "What's wrong David?" I asked while grabbing his shoulder to turn him around, "I feel like they all know.." he said while looking up to me "what do you mean? Know what?" I ask even more confused than before "about us." David stated while turning away from me. He sat down on a chair and I did the same, "so what if they know, I would never be ashamed to be with you." I told him hoping he would feel the same, "it's not that I'm ashamed of you or anything! It's just I don't know how they will react to.. us. We aren't exactly the two you would imagine together." He said while looking up at the sky, he was a little right. "I don't think they will mind, I bet they will be happy for us and if not than it's their loss." I replied as David turned back to me, "your right, when do we tell them?" David said while looking back over to me with a smile, "how about right now?" I say while standing up. David seemed a bit taken back but after a few seconds agreed. We got up to the door as I realized that we were about to reveal a secret that everyone might not accept. I looked over to David for reassurance and he nodded as he opened the door.
