"Kevin, you're still in bed?"

I tried to reach for my watch na nasa may side table. It says 10:38am. "Patay!!" sabay tapik sa noo.

"What? My God Kevin why are you still in bed? And worst is you're still asleep when I've called. Three times ako tumatawag to you before mo sinagot." inis na litanya ni Alexandra, ang girlfriend ko.

"Sorry baby, I'll make up to you later. Promise..." bawing sabi ko.

"You are so madaya talaga Kevin. You said last night that you'll pick me up dito by 10am today. Hello? What time is it already?"

"Sorry sorry baby. I'll be there. Wait for me. Promise. Just give me a sec. Okay?" dali-dali akong tumayo.

"Okay. If you're not here by 11:15, I'll go at the mall by myself." pagkaklarong sabi ng dalaga.

"Okay. Before 11:15 I'll be there. Love you baby!" sabay off ng cp at hagis sa labas ng bathroom. Safe naman kasi heavy carpeted ang room ko.

Buti na lang kamag-anak ko si Flash kapag ganitong nagigipit ako sa oras lalong-lalo na if si Alexandra ang at stake. Matagal na kaming in a relationship ni Alexandra. Actually, you guys won't believe her name. Maria Alexandra Nicole Francis Bustamante Tamayo... Well that's her name. Tama, siya lang naman ang nag-iisang anak ng negosyanteng Raul Tamayo na may-ari ng Tamayo Group of Companies sa Cargo Shippings here and abroad. Magkasosyo sila ni daddy sa business at magkumpare pa. Her mom died early due to heart failure and hindi na nag-asawa pa ang daddy nito. To be exact, we are celebrating our 8th years of being together as bf/gf... Today. Yes! We were still young that time when my dad and her dad decided to made an arrangement between the two of us. Gusto nila kami ni Alexandra ang magkatuluyan. Hindi naman mahirap pakisamahan at mahalin si Alexandra. She's kind although may pagka-maldita minsan, loving, thoughtful, malambing na madalas e PDA (Public Display of Affection) na kami.. yun nga lang ay most often bossy dahil syempre spoiled sa daddy nito. But over-all, I learned to love her as time goes by. Sa 8 years naman na relationship namin ay may on and off rin kami. Natural na yun sa magka-relation. Hindi naman pwedeng perfect diba? Madalas nga lang ay unmistaken 3rd-party ang reason why we broke up. But as much as possible, we tried to settle everything before pa makarating sa mga magulang namin. Part na ng relationship namin ang both parents namin. Tulad ng last argument namin, kailangan pa ng diskarte ng daddy ko sa daddy niya para lang magkabalikan kami ni Alexandra. That's how crucial our relationship is... Grabe!! Business is always at stake talaga plus our parents' friendship. Kaya mahirap kaya maging kaaway si Alexandra.

"Yes! Yes! Yes!" suntok ko sa hangin pagkarating ko sa mansion ng mga Tamayo.

"Pasok po kayo Sir Kevin. Si Ms. Alexandra po ay nasa may pool area, kanina pa po kayo hinihintay." straight na sabi ni Kuya Guard sa akin.

Tumuloy na ako sa loob. Kabisado ko na ang mansion na ito. Lahat ng sulok ng kabahayang ito ay alam ko na. Nung una kong tungtong rito ay halos maligaw ako sa laki pero ngayon syempre kahit nakapikit ako ay hindi na ako madadapa. Pagdating ko ng pool area, I immediately saw her.
