Chapter 7-Hunters

   It's been a day after that mysterious person watched me I wait at the dinner table.“It's time to eat,"Sensei says I grab my chopsticks and get some noddles.It's been a long time since I used actual eating tools like forks and spoons I have gotten used to eating without them.

   Jamie walks in and her hair is a little wet she must've taken a shower.“Sensei forgive my lateness,"Jamie says bowing.“You are forgiven I respect nothing can always be perfect there needs to be a mistake before a lesson is learned like Cameron with archery, Peter with combat, Nate with focus, and Ulysses with speed,"Sensei says.“Sensei is there any mistake with me on anything,"I interupt,“To the best of my knowledge your doing excellent on every topic but there is something I'll tell you tonight it's not for everyones ears to listen."

   After dinner I head into Sensei's room I open it and I see him meditating I sit in front of him and close my eyes.

   “There's trouble in your past,"I hear Sensei say,“Yes there is,"I say I don't open my eyes I only focus on hearing him.“I don't wish to violate privacy but what is troubling you,"he asks,“A long time ago me and my friends went to this island vacation, everything was great until I heard it was dangerous my friends and I got caught and held for ransom but a girl I saved called Maria.......when she was in danger I saw her die in front of me and I felt I could've saved her, another friend of mine Jamie's younger sister Janise she died and still my friends died and I felt I blame myself feeling I could've saved them."

   “Your past has happened you did your best to try to save them and trust me finding closure will heal you and make you a better warrior."

   I open my eyes and I see Sensei still sitting there I get up and head to my room.I go to my closet and put on a red hoddie with some jeans with black kick shoes.

   I leave the temple where I train and walk out in the city.I head to the park and I stroll around and look at the playground for kids and artwork.

   I look at my watch and I see it's getting very late I start to head home when I hear footsteps behind me.I turn to see Cameron standing there.“Cam? Why are you following me,"I ask,“Well I saw you leave the temple and well since Kairo is hunting you I thought it's best not to let you get killed or captured."

   I start to walk back to the temple when I see two robed people block our way.I look and I see more they look like ninjas that almost killed me.I quickly reach for my staff that I carry with me I have it small but I lash it and make it longer.

   “Any idea for attack,"Cameron asks me,“I do, we attack,"I run and every ninja from all sides start running at us.

   I swing and hit two and they fall far making more fall with them I block a lot of attacks and counter all but few cut me either on my hand or foot.

   I keep fighting and I start to get tired I kick one far away and and I grab his sword and a few knives quickly.

   I throw a few and I hit every target.I look and see Cameron avoiding every attack at him.I suddenly see someone running at him from behind I run as fast as I can I get the sword and throw it, it goes deep into his head making most of the blade stick out the other end.

   He blocks every hit and strikes back harder.I feel something hit my face I fall to the floor and blood escapes my mouth.I feel a deep cut through my leg and try to fight it but the pain us killing me.

   I see Cameron jump and head toward him he grab his leg and slams him down.I see blood flowing from his head.I grab my staff and slam it on the persons face he falls back and I rip the sword off my leg.I feel blood escalating down to my toe.I loose balance and I fall I feel my heart beat go slower and slower...

   I see there's someone who most likely might've killed Cameron but still tell me what are your thoughts so....
