Chapter 19- The Future

*Janise's P.O.V*

The sound of the light breeze wakes me up as I sit up and see so many wires attatched to me. My heartbeat steady and calm as I look around and see Itachi and Kento alseep beside me.

I slowly get up and see a torn piece of red clothing as I look around. I walk around seeing everyone asleep but surprised as I see Akiko on the computer looking around the map of Japan. "Oh, you're awake, "she says silently turning around to face me.

"How long have I been out?"I say as she pushes her glasses up."Its been 3 days you would've woken up sooner but we needed you to be fully healthy so Itachi decided to keep your body relaxed and focused on healing."

"Where's everyone else?" I ask as its mostly barren and empty. "They're all looking for Adan who doesn't have a trace as far as we know, even Cameron can't track him and he has the same vision, but Itachi, Kento, and Cameron are here resting in case Reggie comes to kidnap you or me."

I take a step back taking it all in,"What happened to him?"

"You were conscious but Adan was told one of his teamates were a traitor and upon Kento and Itachi's reports...there's another traitor among us."

I walk back into my room and pull the piece of red cloth off the counter... 'Its his jacket' .... I look around and see a briefcase.

I slowly open it to see a familar red plated suit that Adan wore. I look underneath and see the bottles that were from Eden, I slowly reach and feel a hand block mine.

"It won't work."I turn to see Cameron who's hair is covering his eyes."Your body is much too weak to handle it's effects."

"Cameron if he's alive then it's something he would do for any of us."I say as he picks up a bottle.

"I'll do it, besides it only works with people who have hunter vision."

Cameron pops open a small bottle and begins to drink as he lays down and places the bottle to his side. "If I seem in pain don't move or touch me it'll interupt the vision."

I step back as Cameron closes his eyes and drifts off.

I hear a feint howl as I make my way up to ground level. I look and see Violet charging at me. "I miss you two girl." I say petting her skin as I look up at the moonlight.

*2 hours later*
*Itachi's P.O.V*

I hear struggling as my eyes open and I see Cameron in Janise's bed I move to approach him but stopped by Janise who's blocking me."What's happening?" I ask as she looks up at me.

"Cameron is finding out where Adan is."Janise says as Kento is sitting in the corner meditating.

I look as his body is moving like a man fighting off the poison of a viper.

"I trust you know everything that has happened?"I say as Janise nods.

The lights in the room cut off as I reach for my sword as I hear Kento do the same.

We both speed our way toward the surface as we spot a cavalry of warriors, all sporting the insignia of Kairo. "We must not let them know our hideout."Kento says as I nod.

"Then we lead them away, I'll run and ambush them at the same time."

"Just like old times,"I say smiling as Kento nods with his blank expression.

We both climb up and I look around seeing the patrol as Kento drops down in front of them. "Stop right where you are," one of them say as Kento begins walking off. A group of the militia follow him and to their surprise he's gone but Kento reappears looking back interested.

I jump from tree to tree as all of the warriors chase him. I look from above as he holds his hands up in surrender.

I see a smie as Kento drops a smoke bomb and signals me to drop down.

I reach the floor as gunshots are heard and I silently approach slowly killing everyone who hasn't noticed me and as the fog clears I see Kento snapping the neck of a man with a gun.

As we both arrive back at the base I head down and see Janise keep her eyes on Cameron. He's stopped shaking and is only sound asleep. A few moments pass as the lights go back on and Janise doesn't ask what happened.

I sit down as I feel a hand grab my wrist. I look and see Cameron fully awake and he looks over at Janise and takes a deep breath.

"Have you found him?"I ask as Cameron sits up taking deep breaths.

"I need to speak with you..."

Janise doesn't move as we both leave, as soon as we're outside Cameron runs toward the trees and tells me to follow.

We soon reach a river as he washes his face and looks back at me with a face of worry.

"What did you see?"I ask as he stands up and faces me.

"Adan is west of this spot....but don't tell Janise."I look at him confused since I don't understand his warning.

"Why shouldn't I let her accompany me?" I ask as Cameron looks down.

"Don't let her join you because in my vision I saw Adan stab her through the chest.... killing her."

WHOA ADAN STABS JANISE?
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHO'S THE TRAITOR? WHY DOES JANISE GET STABBED?
