"HUMANS! TIME TO WAKE UP!" Someone yells. I feel something poke my side. I start giggling. Next thing I know, I'm on the ground, laughing from being tickled. I crack open my eye to see Frisk.
"Nu! My one weakness! I'm ticklish!" I yell in between laughs. "Frisk, please staph!" I feel a wave of relief washes over me as the tickling stops.
"WELL, HUMANS, I WILL BE GOING ON MY RUN NOW!" Papyrus yells. Frisk nods.
"See you later, Papyrus!" I yell. Papyrus walks out the door. I hug Frisk. "I missed you so much."
"You were the only thing I missed." Frisk states. I giggle, holding back tears. Frisk pulls me into their lap. "Are you hungry?"
"Frisk, are you giving away food? You know the only thing in the fridge are Papyrus's spaghetti and chips." A voice asks. Our heads bolt to the stairs, seeing Sans. I feel a knot in my stomach.
"I'm sorry, Sans. I hope you don't mind that I stay here." I whisper, looking down. Frisk hugs me.
"I said she could stay with me." Frisk states, loudly. I smile.
"Do you have eyes?" Sans asks. I face palm.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I ask. I pause and think about what Sans said. "You haven't shown them at least one eye?" Frisk sighs and opens one eye.
"Happy?" Frisk asks. I smile and nod. "Yes, Sans. I have eyes." Sans smiles.
"Undyne! You owe me ten bucks!" Sans yells. I hear a door break and I look behind me. A fish woman has broken through the door.
"You have eyes, human? I thought you were blind!" Undyne asks. Frisk nods smiling. "Well, I have to get back to Papyrus! See you later!" I giggle softly.
"Well, that happened." I whisper. Frisk bursts out laughing. "Did I miss something?"
"No. Not at all." Sans states, smirking.
"What did I miss? I'm so confused." I ask.
"Undyne was in boxers!" Frisk yells. I smirk, pinning Frisk to the floor. Their laughing stops immediately afterwards. I lean closer to their face.
"What's so funny about that? Would you laugh if I was running around in boxers? Or would you hide your blush?" I ask in a smooth voice. Sans walks back upstairs. I smirk. Frisk's face turns a deep red. "What? Embarrassed?" Frisk looks at me, worried. I fall backwards laughing.
"What you laughing at?" Frisk asks, crossing their arms, pouting.
"The face you made was priceless!" I yell. Frisk smirks.
"Let's see how you like it." Frisk states. I look at Frisk. I feel something soft on my lips. Before I can react, it's gone. My face heats up and I feel my eye glow.
"F-frisk. U-umm... t-that i-s v-very f-funny. Haha..." I stutter, punching their arm playfully. Frisk hugs me again.
"I missed you. A lot. Your glow, your stutter, everything. You were my only friend. The only one I needed." Frisk states. Frisk bumps my arm. I seethe. A burning sensation fills my senses, a painful one. "I still can't believe it has been one year."
"Ow... Ow. Ow. Ow. Ow!" I yell. I hear steps as Sans runs down the stairs. I adjust my sling. Sans stops dead in his tracks.
"Your eye... It's... glowing..." Sans states. My eye widens. I cover my eye with my free arm.
"N-no. I-its not! You a-are s-s-seeing things." I stutter. I roll into the kitchen, jumping to my feet. I calm myself down and my eye stops glowing. I slump down against the counter. "Crap. Why do you have to make everything so difficult?"
"How is it possible? You are human, right?" Sans asks. He pauses. "Can I see your soul?" I nod.
"I don't really know how to reveal my soul." I respond shyly, rubbing the back of my neck. Sans laughs, snapping. My soul appears in front of him.
"What?" Sans asks, looking at me confused. "Your soul is black and it glows purple. What does that mean?" Frisk walks in.
"I propose taking the hybrid to Asgore. He might know what's happening." Frisk states.
"I'm a hybrid?" I ask. Frisk nods.
"One parent was a human, the other a monster or a hybrid. Or both parents were hybrids. Either way, you are a hybrid. They haven't exsited since the war. They were all killed for treason." Frisk explains, holding up a book titled, 'Monster History.'
"Yes. Take me to this Asgore. I want to know more!" I yell, pulling on my striped sweater. "Let's go!"

Frisk clicks a button on the elevator. "Hey, Frisk? Where did Sans go?" I ask.
"He used one of his 'shortcuts'. He's probably stuck in a wall." Frisk states.
I giggle."Cool." I state. Frisk leads the way through a hallway. They push open a door.
"ASGORE? WHERE ARE YOU?!" Frisk shouts.
"Warn me next time before you yell, child." A goat man states. I straighten my back. "Who is this, Frisk?"
"This is my only friend from above ground." Frisk states. I wave.
"Want to hear a joke?" I ask. Asgore nods. "What did one ocean say to the other ocean?"
"What?" Asgore asks. Frisk facepalms.
"Nothing, they just waved." I answer. I smirk. Asgore gives me an 'are you serious?' look. I hear laughing and look to my left. My eye starts to glow a light blue. My hand ignites in blue magic, without my command. "Who's there? Show yourself!"
"Woah, woah, there. I promise I won't hurt ya." A voice states. A kid comes out from behind a pillar. "Frisk!" The kid runs towards Frisk. I grab him by his soul, turning it blue.
"Who are you and how do you know Frisk?" I ask coldly. The kid starts to cry.
"My name is Asriel Dreemer and I am Frisk's brother! Who are you?" The kid states. I look at Frisk. They nod. I let the kid go.
"I am Frisk's friend and it is my duty to protect them." I state proudly. "Back to our project at hand." I point to Frisk.
"So, Asgore. Could you have a look at my friend's soul?" Frisk asks. My soul pops out of my chest. Asgore looks taken back.
"A hybrid. How? They were all killed. And a skeleton hybrid, no less." Asgore states. Asgore mumbles more to himself.
"So, how did you break your arm? And hurt your eye?" Asriel asks.
"I jumped off a building and a knife was thrown at my eye." I state. Asriel hides behind Frisk. I laugh.
Little did I know, I was about to face the biggest obstacle of my life.
