While at the cafe with Jaiden having a little lunch, Jaiden ask if my parents ever wonder where I am all the time.

Kat:I always say I'm going out with a friend.

J: But your a Christian, aren't you lying?

Kat: No, I'm telling the whole truth I'm with a friend,you.

J: Thanks,man.(Jaiden laughs)

Kat: What's funny?

J: It's just I never expected to make a friend in this town. You're a really amazing person.

Kat: Me,no you are an amazing person,you help me with a lot. I'm surprised that the person that help me the most I met on a bus stop.

J: Also,by chance.

Kat: That too.

J: Hey do you think that you will ever let your family know about me?

Kat: Mabey,it's just I don't know if my family might let me hang out with you anymore.

Kat: Hey,I know we been friends for a couple of months but what's with the tattoos?

J: Well,the birds are because I like birds,the cards are the fact that I was a poker head,I gambled with.... Shannon.She  the one that told me to get the spiral on my back. God I miss her.

I saw a tear come from her eyes and roll down her cheek.

Kat: I'm sorry...

J: No it's okay,so do you have any homework to do.

Kat: Jaiden I'm sorry...

J: Nope I'm fine just forget what I said!(long slience) Look I'm sorry I just,it's just the thought of Shannon and what happened to those two girls just taking a toll on me. I worried for you Emma. Your 16 years old,I get scared because of the dangers you face being who you are.

Kat: I can deal with it,I just have to deal with it,your the only one that knows.

J: Your right. Hey I was being serious when I said do you homework.

Kat: Yeah,math,I'm having a little touble and need help.

J: I can help,let me see.

Kat: Okay.

J: This looks easy,I can show you.

After helping me with my homework,which took an hour, Jaiden had to go home and said goodbye. I said goodbye and left. When I got home,it was just my mom in the living room staring at me.

Kat: Umm,yes.

Kat's mom: I was driving by the cafe and I saw you talking to a girl. Emma were on a date?With a girl? Is this why your always out of the house?Emma,are you....

Kat: Mom,no I'm wasn't on a date. But yes she is the reason why I'm always out. She my tutor.

Kat's mom: Why didn't you tell me this before?

Kat: Because she has tattoos and really isnt the type you want me around. She's nice and good person,we even became friends. Mom I'm sorry.

Kat's mom: Fine. But I need to talk to her,who knows what she can do.

Kat: Fine,but relax mom,I've known her for a couple of months,she a amazing person.

I was talking to Jaiden,who was outside my house, about the plan.

Kat: Okay,( opens the door) mom here's Jaiden,my friend and tutor.

J: Hello,I'm Jaiden nice to meet you( shakes hands with Kat's mom).

Kat's mom: So how did you and my daughter meet?

J: Well I was looking for extra work and I sign up as a tutor and Emma called me. We became friends as time pass on.

Kat's mom:How old are you?

J:19

Kat's mom:Did you graduate college?

J:No,I drop out,but smart enough to tutor.

Kat's mom: Are you an addict?

Jeez mom, straight to the point.

J: No.

Kat's mom: Hmmm,do you smoke,drink?

J: No.

Kat's mom: Are you gay?

Kat: Mom!

J: No,it's okay Emma. Umm...yes.

Kat: Jaiden!

Kat's mom: Okay. Let me talk to you,alone Jaiden.

J: Okay.

Jaiden look back and show me a look of fear. I was shocked. She knew that my family was against the ideas of gay people. Why would she do this? Was she tried of lying?

I told her the truth,I wanted her family to know the real me,I didn't want to keep secrets from her family now they know me. I was worried about this. I didn't want to lose Emma she amazing.

Kat's mom: So you're a lesbian?

J: Yes.

Kat's mom: Okay. Please stay away from my daughter.

J: But she needs help with....

Kat's mom: She can learn. Just...

Kat: Mom, please no.

Kat's mom: Emma....

Kat:What are you worried about,me becoming gay?

Kat's mom: Go to your room.(Kat leaves) It seems Emma has grown a liking to you.

J: Yeah,I like her,too,not in that way, a friend way. Look,I had a mess up life and Emma help me regain strength when I was weak. I also help her,we help each other like friends. Please.....

Kat's mom: You come to our church so you can get save. If you refuse,you won't see Emma,I want to help you get better and save you. Your sick. But you can be cured.

J:Thank you.

Kat's mom:This is because your Emma friend. No other reason. If my daughter becomes like you,I will make sure you don't get anywhere close to Emma,do you understand?

J:Yes.

I left and Emma ask what happen. She was happy and angered because her mom was calling me sick. I was worried, knowing what they do,if they found out about her.
