A New Start

ciel and I were walking around the school to each class on the list

"what class is this?" I asked trying to break the awkward silence between us

"math" he stated and began to walk to the other classroom which was science but ciel stopped midway

"ciel?" I asked wondering why he stopped and then seen a teacher walking to us

"why aren't you two in class?" the teacher asked

"I was showing our new student here around the building" ciel said in a kinder manor unlike how he was acting before which was a bit strange

"oh very well then carry on" the teacher said and walked off I sighed I thought we were going to be in trouble but no we weren't which was great i would hate to get in trouble on my first day of school soon ciel took me out of my train of thought by tapping my shoulder

"hey, you alright" ciel said in his cold tone of a voice

"oh...yeah I'm fine" I said frowning a bit I didn't understand why he was so cold when he talks to me does he hate me?' I thought as I walked with him to the science room" ciel said

"ciel?" I said his name in a question tone

"yes what is it?" ciel said

"do you hate me or something?" I asked

I saw ciel looking confused

"I only ask because well you seem to give everyone more kind and respect and appreciation then me so I'm just wondering and if you want i could stay away from you completely and ask someone else to show me around the school" I said looking down not knowing his expression

"no, I don't hate you, I just don't tolerate people I don't like them very much there just a waste of space" ciel told me

"oh..." I said I didn't know how to feel in that situation I was relived that he didn't hate me but I was hurt that he only sees people as a waste of space

"hey, you alright" ciel asked snapping me out of my train of thought

"hm?"

"you were lost in space just staring at the floor it was kind of weird" ciel told me and I blushed from embarrassment  'great now he thinks your weird nice going Alois' I said to myself

"s-sorry" I stuttered and then mentally slapped myself for stuttering

"it's quite alright" ciel told me and I heard a bell ring

"that's the bell it rings when we go to class but since I'm showing you around the school we don't need to go to class" ciel told me and I just simply nodded slightly but quickly

me and ciel began walking when this blonde girl with green eyes ran up to us she was wearing a pastel pink dress with white flowers on it and a blue spring jacket on and she hugged ciel tightly I didn't understand what was coming over me jealousy maybe but why I didn't understand so I just stood there in silence

"whos this cielly~?" this girl said

"Alois this is my cousin Elizabeth" ciel said

"it's nice to meet you~" Elizabeth said

"you too" I sigh in slight relief when he said that she was his cousin I still didn't understand why I got so mad in the first place

"will he be eating lunch with us cielly~" Elizabeth asked

"sure if he wants and stop calling me that" ciel said frowning

"I would be happy to" I said and we all walked to the lunch room"
