Another week had passed and July was about to end, Daniel and I had again grown closer again, trying to mend what was broken.
As I was cleaning the counter, I felt two familiar strong arms around my waist. "Hey," Daniel giggled. I smiled at the warm feeling of his face snuggled into my neck, it was a feeling I could never get quite used to. I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him quickly before I jumped on top of the counter to sit down on it, my hands held Daniels.
"Do you think, we're ready to.." I started.
"To what?" He asked. I reached in one of the drawers and grabbed the ring Daniel gave me when he proposed.
"Be comitted again, to spend our lives together, forever," I said a bit scared of his answer. His eyes lit up and he took the ring from my hands.
"I wouldn't want anything more than that," He smiled and held the ring infront of my ring finger. "Valencia,"
"Daniel," I giggled.
"Will you marry me?"
"I will," I said and hugged him tight after he placed the sparkling ring back around my finger. "I love you, so much."
"I love you too, baby."
"I've missed you calling me that," I blushed. He just placed a kiss on the ring.
"I've missed seeing you so happy, I just want to give you all the happiness in the world."
"I've missed being so happy, but you and I, us, our little guy on the way, now we're all settled and worked things out, I'm so happy and thankful for that."
"Me too, we should start thinking of names for the little man in there," He said proudly as he rubbed softly over my belly with his thumb.
"We should, we also need to continue planning our big day," I said and stared at the ring, which felt like home back on my finger.
"Yeah," He agreed.
"Do you think.. we could still do it on our anniversary?"
He shrugged. "Maybe, it's only July and September is still some time away," He grinned.
"Oh, but we would have to sort out everything again," I said disappointed.
He shook his haid. "Well actually, I never cancelled anything, never called anything off so everything we chose out, is still gonna be ready for September."
I smiled and hugged him tight. "Oh my god! That is amazing!"
"I know," He chuckled.
"Can you believe we're getting married?"
"I can't believe I get to marry the woman of my dreams."
