Mt. Shadow

POV: 3rd person: tokoyami, yuga's group

Not a long chapter but not a short one either, as always feel free to point out any mistakes

Yuga, sato, shoji, and koda navigated the maze of tunnels within mt shadow "we've been down here for hours" aoyama said. Shoji stretched out an arm to him and formed a mouth at the end of it "stop complaining" he said. "These zubat are so annoying" sato stated "they do make great allies for koda though" a zubat flew over to koda and flew back to a cave entrance. Koda followed it. The group followed the zubat through the tunnels.

They passed a dark entryway with a warning sign warning: diglett tunnels, enter at your own peril. "What do they mean by "enter at your own peril"?" Sato asked. The zubat murmured something in koda's ear. Sato and aoyama started to walk towards it "don't enter!" Koda squeaked "it floods when it's raining or randomly! There are also things in there other than diglett!" Sato and aoyama were already walking into the tunnel. "Were those two not listening?" Shoji grumbled. Koda and shoji reluctantly followed.

"There is no light down here" sato commented. Aoyama shot a navel laser down the passageway. It lit up the cave for a few seconds but for now, the group was relying on koda and their zubat guide. The ground rumbled a little and there was a slight breeze in the tunnel "follow the breeze" shoji said. The group followed it until they came up to a pool of water. Above the water, there was a shaft. It led all the way up to the surface but there was no way for them to climb up. Another rumble. "Is that a good sign?" Aoyama asked. "Do you like my cape?" He asked koda. He nodded his head quickly. Shoji was pretty confused what the noise was. The zubat shivered next to koda. The pool of water erupted and sprayed up "it's a geyser!" Shoji yelled. The cave was filling up with water "run!" A giant wave of water was rushing towards them from a tunnel. They dashed away from the flood wave. There was a door in one of the walls "OPEN IT!!!" Sato yelled and aoyama shot a laser at it. The four crawled through and walked up a slope that contained the water in a puddle.

"That was terrifying" sato breathed out. The zubat flew further into the cave. The four followed the zubat trusting it. There was a chest at the end of it. The zubat was hovering above it aoyama opened the lid and peered inside. A bright glow came from the chest when it was opened "these are evolution stones" shoji said in wonder "they're pretty useful" "they're sparkly" aoyama said "let's share them with the rest of the class" sato suggested. Koda used sign language to say "good idea." Shoji grabbed the box of stones and they walked out of the back. It leads back to mt shadow "we should have never entered those tunnels" aoyama decided "are you just now realizing?" Shoji asked.

It's dark here tokoyami thought as he walked through a cave. Another zubat attacked him "pursuit" he commanded and another fainted zubat dropped on the floor what a nuisance he thought dark shadow turned around "there is a trainer up ahead" it reported, "what is their quirk?" "An emitter or transformation type," it said "I couldn't see any physical mutations" tokoyami snuck up to the trainer, they created a ball of light and tossed it at him. Tokoyami leaped away and retracted dark shadow. "You know, it isn't smart to sneak up on other trainers, they might just challenge you to a battle." Tokoyami grabbed his dusk ball with spiritomb "I'm not afraid of battling" he said, "what's your name anyway?" "You tell me yours first" "kazubane" "tokoyami" "lets battle," he said tossing out a bulbasaur and charging another light ball.

Tokoyami summoned spiritomb and dark shadow though the matchup was poor for it. "Bulbasaur, use sunny day" tokoyami frowned now it was even worse. "Spiritomb, do what you always do" dark shadow charged over to his opponent. Kazubane tossed his light ball at it and dark shadow flinched. Kazubane: quirk light pitch, he condensed light that he stored in his body in his hands into balls to throw at others. He collects light through his eyes by absorbing any light that enters them. Tokoyami's spiritomb knocked bulbasaur out and went to back up dark shadow. "Nice job" tokoyami said to it. His opponent tossed another ball of light at dark shadow. "Spiritomb, use pursuit" spiritomb rushed kazubane and used pursuit. He tossed a light ball at spiritomb. After a couple more minutes they stopped sparing. "That was a good fight tokoyami!" He grinned "want to be friends?" Tokoyami looked at him what person asks that? dark shadow was tired but laughed at him. "Sure" tokoyami replied though unenthusiastically "let me give you my phone number!" Kazubane snatched tokoyami's phone and texted himself with it. As tokoyami walked away he heard his new friend yell "talk to you soon!"
