Welcome to this book's first legends' quest.

POV: 3rd person

A pink tail flicked in a tree. Its ears perked it heard the sound of a distant roar. The pokemon flew closer lured by to curiosity. They're fighting it thought. A pale and a blue pokemon were battling in the sky. Why do I think I know them? The pokemon fluffed it's fur and investigated the scene. The pokemon was suddenly sucked into the ground. A grey pokemon with red eyes and a crown of gold thorns emerged from a swirling dark purple abyss. The pink pokemon can sense something beyond. The pokemon didn't have time to think about it. As the grey beast shot up from the abyss it swung its tail from side to side and whacked the small pink pokemon. It crashed into a tree and fell to the ground, the roars seemed to be getting more distant. Everything is fading...

Millions of years later...

"So this is where we are supposed to meet?" Ochako asked deku. "Yeah" it was a pokemon research center that is currently used as a trainers center because Professor Acacia (named after trees) went missing for several days. Pro heroes are already working on finding the missing professor. Everyone was gathered by the afternoon and once everyone was there they had some battles and dinner. "I'm going to explore the rooms after," deku said to ochako "ok, have fun" deku got up from the table and walked to the stairs leading to the upper floors of the former lab. He made his way to the door of the lab which was off limits "I guess there goes that idea. Hm?" The door was open a little. Moonlight poured through an open window onto the wooden floor which was scattered with papers and books. Almost like someone was frantically looking for something. Deku slipped into the room and closed the door behind him. He picked up a large notebook with a picture with a picture of a weird looking rock on it. He opened it "on May 17, my laboratory received an ancient fossil. Older than any other fossils of pokemon found at that time. I am incredibly blessed by this opportunity to own it. I will analyze it to find out what this is and possibly resurrect it." That's cool, I wonder what pokemon this is, deku flipped back to the cover and looked at the fossil. He continued reading the book. "This fossil is amazing! Mew's fossilized fur from millions of years ago! I'm trying my best to find traces of DNA. DNA was found! My team is working hard trying to extract some! This is an amazing discovery! We succeeded in extracting DNA, cloning project starts today! I'm so excited!" The next few pages have been ripped out? Deku flipped through the rest of the book in disappointment. Huh? on the last page, there was a hastily scribbled note. "Please come to lemon balm island (its called that because it was originally used for farming that herb, it was abandoned long ago). Bring strong trainers don't bring pro heroes, they threatened them, if they came they would destroy an entire city. Come as quickly as possible." Deku got up suddenly and grabbed the book. He pushed his way out the door and ran down the stairs to his class. "Guys! Look!" Deku it the book on a glass table and opened it to its last page.

Class 1 A, the gym leaders of the region, and a couple more powerful trainers were standing on a cliff. This was going to be a stealth mission. Deku had notified the pro heroes despite the warning not to, the warning was correct, however. As soon as deku told all might, the city burst into flames and explosions brought buildings to the ground. An army of mutilated pokemon attacked the city. Now the team of trainers waited for night to fall so they can steal a boat to the island. Deku looked up at the now clear sky. Storm clouds started to roll in and a light drizzle started. "This should provide us with some cover" a trainer named sionei commented she stared at the storm clouds. (The gym leaders wanted her to come along though no one knew what she could do.) "We should be going now" the group ran and stole a small boat. "Does anyone know how to work this?" They all looked at each other "I do" the water type gym leader, dorian said confidently, but instead of grabbing the wheel like most people expected he sent out his garydos and milotic. He made ropes out of seawater and attached the pokemon to the boat "drag this to lemon balm island!" "Uh..." It worked though. The pokemon did a good job of keeping the boat relatively steady in the stormy waves. It took about an hour to get to the island. The group left the boat at the shore and went to go check on the island.
