Sorry for the long wait but I decided to put the short chapters into one. This story isn't over. From now on I'll be merging some chapters. If you can catch me merging the chapters fell free to comment about it. The comments, reads, and votes will be weird but that's fine. I just don't want this book to be 1000 chapters long with filler chapters.

Underpass of whismur

POV: 3rd person momo's group

Jirou and momo walked a few paces ahead of mineta. They were discussing their future teams. "I want a well-balanced team so I can win more battles" jirou nodded "that makes sense, it's probably the best strategy. I just want a team of pokemon that shares my passion for music." "There are plenty of sound based pokemon out there I'm sure" momo replied helpfully. "Yeah" jirou agreed.

Mineta was battling a whismur behind the two girls, momo looked back "why don't you catch a whismur?" "I thought about that, I'm not sure if they would be strong enough to help my team out" "just go for it!" Momo encouraged "ok..." jirou experimented with different whismur "these aren't strong enough" she mumbled with frustration. "That's ok, let's just continue down the tunnel." Momo suggested "yeh" jirou momo and mineta walked through the tunnel. The exit was ahead. Mineta battled another whismur.

At the exit, a whismur popped up from behind a rock and blocked the trainers. "Go smeargle! Use rock smash!" The whismur used echoed voice. "Use..." whismur called for help. "Use absorb!" The other whismur fainted. The original one called for more help. All the whismur in the cave swarmed them. "Smeargle! Use water gun!" "Noibat use gust!" "Fenikin, ember!" A pile of fainted pokemon was in front of them. The whismur appeared behind the trainers and used echoed voice. Jirou glared at it and tossed a poke ball at it. It rocked once and sparked I caught it? Jirou picked up the poke ball "whismur, come out!" The whismur jumped "wizzz!" "So you did catch a whismur after all," momo said "yeah looks like I did"

Contest sign up

POV: 3rd person yuga's group hagakure's group deku's group bakugou's group

Aoyama, shoji, koda, and sato walked into a poke center. A text from ochako in the group chat about this thing called contests was exciting to aoyama because he can look fabulous and perform on a stage. Their entire class was gathered near a bunch of fluffy sofas. Ochako was sitting on one "great! Everyone is here! So yesterday I remembered something. We are now trainers and we can take part in contests now! Isn't that great?" Hagakure and mina cheered loudly and all the girls seemed to know what contests were but most boys didn't as they didn't watch contests on tv. "What is this contest thing you're talking about?" Deku asked her as she had refused to tell him about it until they all got to the poke center. "So it's a competition between trainers on a stage. Trainers perform with their pokemon and they gain points depending on how well they did!" "You can also be the contest queen or king if you're good enough" mina chirped "it's also a lot of fun!" Ochako finished. Deku smiled. Ochako seemed to enjoy talking about this topic and he liked her enthusiasm. "So who wants to sign up?" Ochako asked "me!" Mina, hagakure, momo, asui, and aoyama said and raised their hands. "Hm? Jirou you're not going to join us?" Momo asked, "I don't really feel comfortable performing in front of an audience." Jirou muttered, "you would do great if you had a bit of self-confidence!" Momo exclaimed, "why don't you give it a try?" Jirou looked at her and slowly nodded "ok, maybe I'll like it."

Ochako wrote everyone's names down on a clipboard and handed it over to a person. "I registered all of us in the contest, now we wait for the person who would help us with the things we need to know before competing." A few minutes later two girls walked over to them. One was in a bright blue dress covered in sequins and jewels with an altaria behind her. The other was in an elegant red dress and a delphox followed her. "Welcome to the contests! I'm lisia and my friend here is aria. We are quite experienced at contests and we will be training you today!" "I'm such a big fan of you guys!" Hagakure said excitedly "when I was younger I loved watching all of your performances! That was some time ago when you guys were still starting out at contests but you were great!" The two smiled "thanks! It means a lot to us!" Lisia said grinning.
