POV: 3rd person
*Yawn* "Finally off the plane and back in kanto." Blue commented. "Are you excited to see your family again?" "..." red stayed silent. "Or our friends?" "Yes, both." He said quietly. "Cool, I need to visit the cemetery at the tower before I go back home." "Sorry about that." "It's fine, I forgave you a long time ago. Smell ya later." Blue said in a somber tone. "Yeah, see you at the cemetery in an hour. I'll get the flowers this time." Red replied before walking off.
Blue climbed the tower stairs and paused in front of a tombstone. "How are you doing my old friend?" Blue spoke about his time in alola. "I miss you, radicate." Blue ended up telling a raven headed boy about his pokemon. He could hear a marrowak crying in the background. It still visits. I should probably meet up with red soon.
Blue found red at the cemetery entrance. "You ready?" Red gave blue a bouquet of flowers. "Yeah." They walked to professor oak's grave. Blue put his flowers on the grass in front of the tombstone. Thanks for always watching over me, gramps. Blue looked up and spotted a familiar yellow-haired trainer. "Yellow! Are you here to visit my grandfather's grave too?" He called. Red looked up from his mourning and waited for her to join them. "No, I'm not here to visit professor oak. I visited him last week. Today is for... someone else." "Your raichu." Red handed her a poke ball. "An alolan raichu." Yellow took the poke ball. "Thank you... this is what... I wanted... so I should be ecstatic." Tears rolled down her cheeks. She wiped the teardrops off the poke ball. "Is leaf not in town today?" Red asked. "You can say that." Yellow paused. Blue raised an eyebrow, "when will she be back?" "You won't see her again, not ever... I'm here to visit her grave." "How did she die!" Blue grabbed on to yellow. "Tell me!" Red was silent behind blue.
"Villains got to her while we were at the poke center. We didn't have our pokemon to protect us." "Did you see her body?" Red asked. "No... but I was there. I saw them take her. She might've already died when they took her." "Why didn't you tell us?!" Blue yelled. He calmed down a bit. "Sorry." "I couldn't do it. I wasn't strong enough to help her or bring myself to tell you." "Leaf will be irate when she finds out that she has a headstone in the cemetery. She's alive. I'm choosing to believe that they took her alive." "If she's alive then the police or heroes should've found her by now." "We'll still find her dead or alive." "Your voice is pretty intense when you do speak." Yellow commented. "If leaf's alive then let's find her." She agreed. Blue nodded, "do we have any leads?" "Nope." "Well, this will be difficult.
"There is something that's bothering me though. Why would the villains want leaf? She is just a normal pokemon trainer." "Blue, I think you're forgetting that we were the temporary champions when you two randomly decided to go to alola and she has a mewtwo capable of mega evolving." Yellow sighed. "She definitely isn't a normal pokemon trainer." "Were her pokemon taken?" Blue questioned. "They could be after her mewtwo." "No, it was weird. They only took her. I have all of her pokemon secure with me right now though I've never used them." "That is strange. How about we start by listing all the reasons why kidnapping her would be a good idea." "..." They all blanked. "For ransom?" Red suggested. "If that was the case then she probably would've been rescued by me." Yellow commented. "And the police had been looking at other possible crimes but one thing stood out. Why leaf specifically? They didn't want me and if they were going to sell us or something like that then why specifically her? I was just as easy of a target then." "I think we should split up and look for some information individually and meet somewhere to form some theories." Blue looked at the others awaiting their response. "I'm fine with that." Red answered. Yellow nodded, "I'll go talk to my private investigator. Even though there was no solid proof that she died, leaf was legally pronounced dead, everyone who was working on the case just gave up after a week."
Blue walked over to professor acacia's lab in silence. It pains me to suspect yellow, but she received all of leaf's pokemon when leaf "died" and she immediately jumped to leaf is dead in a few months instead of continuing the search. I feel horrible about this but it has to be done. Now that I think about it, we don't really know anything about leaf's family. We met her while adventuring right? Huh, why can't I remember how we met her. I'm pretty sure she was living in our town.
Blue opened the door. "Welcome! Need something?" The professor asked. "Yes, may I see green's pokemon?" "Of course! They're in the yard with the other pokemon." Blue went out in the yard. If there was any pokemon likely of knowing anything, it would be her mewtwo. "I know why you're here already. If it's answers you seek, then I'll be happy to help." "Tell me where leaf is." The mewtwo closed its eyes. "My trainer is with you in the future." "What's that supposed to mean?" "It means she'll find her way back eventually." Blue repeated the question and sighed when the pokemon refused to answer. I guess we'll just have to wait until then. He thought with irritation. The mewtwo glared at him. "I heard that."
Deku stared at the police officer with disbelief. "But... I'm sure this is her!" The police officer bound up the person and dragged them off "we'll have to arrest them." "Deku are you alright?" Iida asked running to his friend's side. "I'm not crazy! That woman looks exactly like green." "You mean the missing person? Are you sure?" "She seemed to have amnesia but I'm sure." Deku verified. Iida stopped to think, "she's been arrested for her involvement in this attack. Getting her out of that situation is difficult."
Deku walked along in exhaustion as class 1 A was escorted out of the USJ. The class quickly turned to look at a lilac-colored beam followed by a sonic boom that erupted from the surrounding forest. "What was that?" Ochako whispered. "Best not to worry about it." Iida responded, "it doesn't seem to be dangerous." The light of the beam faded and ochako shrugged. "You're right." And with that, our encounter at the USJ officially ended.
Part one of three of this chapter because I didn't realize how long this USJ arc would last.
The other parts will be published in this chapter.
