Chapter 20

Nayeon's P.O.V
I got up and I felt my eyes swollen since I cried myself to sleep. I got prepared and I saw my members

already with their outfits. "Are you sure you can perform today?" Jihyo asked. "Yeah I'm sure." I said.

We headed off to the auditorium. We were backstage when Baekhyun comes up to me. "Are you

going to be okay?" He asks. I nod. "First group going up is KARD!!!" Principal IU says. Kard goes on

stage and Jiwoo said, "Annyeonghaseyo Jiwoo Imnida! Today we will perform our song You In Me..

Enjoy!!" The got in their positions and began.

"Next up is EXO!!" Principal IU said. Exo got on stage and Kai said, "Annyeonghaseyo Kai imnida! Today

we will perform our song Growl." Exo got in their positions and began.

"Next up is TWICE!!" Principal IU said happily. The rest of the members got in their positions and I said,

"Annyeonghaseyo Nayeon Imnida, today  we will perform our song called Cheer up. Please enjoy!" I

said. We began our performance.

Everyone cheered. "Next is Seventeen!!!" Principal IU said. All the members came out and Vernon said,

"Annyeonghaseyo Vernon imnida, today we will be performing our song, Mansae." They went to their

positions and began.

All the girls were cheering that I thought they would all lose their voice. "Next up is BLACKPINK!"

Principal IU said. The girls came out and Jennie said, "Annyeonghaseyo Jennie imnida and today we

will be performing Playing with fire." The got in their positions and began their performance.

A lot of people cheered. Many groups went on. In the end our seniors voted and Principal IU

announced the winners. "The group that got third place is G friend. Second place is Twice and First

place is Blackpink! Congrats girls!!!" She said. "Now for the guys. Third place goes to EXO. Second

place goes to Monsta X and First place goes to Seventeen!!" Congrats guys!!" Principal IU said. After

that we were dismissed. Baekhyun came to me and said, "You didn't show it but I noticed how hard

you were trying to keep your fake smile on your face." He said. "You know me too well." I said.

"Nayeon can we talk." Chanyeol said as he came to me. "I don't have anything to talk about with you

so like please.. leave me alone you are free to go with Irene." I said. "Let's go." Baekhyun said as he

held my hand. "I need to go somewhere right now." I said. "Do you want me to go with you?" He

asked. "No... I want to go alone." I said. He nodded and he let go of my hand. I headed to the garden

as I knew someone would be there. When I got there I saw the person I expected to be there.

"Kookie." I said. He looks up to me and says, "Nayeon." He stands up and comes closer to me. "What I

told you seven months ago... it was all-" Be said but I interrupt him by saying, "I heard everything... I

regretted dating him after I heard saying it to thin air... you were completely drunk." "You heard?" He

asked. I nodded. "Aish!! I need to control myself." He said as he's rubbing his neck. "You do need to

control yourself." I said. "I can't control myself today though." He said. "What are you--" I said but was

interrupted by him kissing me. I kissed him back. "EWWW!!! DONT KISS HERE!!" I heard someone say.

We both pull back and see Taehyung with Sana. "It's not like you guys don't do it?" I said. "Wait are

you guys together?" Sana asked. I looked at him and he looked at me. "I think right now I might need

a break from guys for now after what happened with the dude who shall not be named." I said. "Darn

it. You guys would actually look good together.

{Somewhat of a timeskip// Narrators P.O.V}

Years passed and the groups were slowly achieving what they wanted. Twice was brought into JYP

Entertainment and debuted, without Nayeon. She decided to live life as a normal person. Exo was

brought into SM entertainment so was Red Velvet. All the groups were able to debut. Nayeon began to

date Jungkook and she was as happy as could be. She unfortunately hasn't seen Baekhyun in a while.

One day however changed Nayeon's life forever.

{August 12th}

I was watching television when I got a call.

Call:

Nayeon: Oh hey taehyung what's up?

Taehyung: Get to the hospital quick!

Nayeon: Why did something happen to Sana???

Taehyung: No but something happened to Jungkook

Nayeon: What happened? {Voice breaking}

Taehyung: He was hit by a car. He's in critical state

Nayeon: I'm going there now bye

Taehyung: Bye

{End of call}

I quickly get changed and head out. I got to the hospital in 20 minutes. I run to his room and see him.

My tears begin to flow out of my eyes. I go closer to him. "Kookie... don't leave me... not now...." I said.

I hold his hand. "Please... You promised me that you would never leave." I said. My tears are flowing

out. "Be happy..." he faintly says. "Jungkook!! WAKE UP!!!" I say. Then the machine for the heart rate

began to beep. His heart rate stopped. "NO JUNGKOOK NO!!!" I yell as tears and overflowing.

Taehyung comes in and hugs me. "Nayeon." He says. The doctors rush in and they try to revive him

but it's no use. "Death... 7:30 p.m. August 12th." The doctor says. "NO HE CANT BE DEAD!!!" I say.

"Nayeon... he can't come back." He says. I just cry in his shoulder.

{Few days later}

I couldn't stay in Korea, everything was reminding me of him so I decided to leave. That's what I did....
