Chapter 28

Nayeon's P.O.V:

I get in the car and the driver ask where to go. "Go to Hae Soo's preschool quick." I said and he

nodded. We got to Hae Soo's preschool in 20 minutes. I get out of my car and pick up Hae Soo. Then

a girl taps my shoulder. I turn around and her eyes widen. "Hello..." I said. "Hi... My name is Rose." She

says. "I'm Byun Nayeon." I replied. "Eomma do you know her?" Hae Soo asks me. "Not really." I said.

"You don't remember me?" Rose asks. I shook my head and said, "I'm sorry but I have to go." I held

Hae Soo's hand and left with her. I entered the car and drove away to the house.

Rose's P.O.V:

I see her enter the car with her daughter... then the car drives away. I am still in shock. "Eomma!" I hear

someone say behind me. "Oh... Haneul did auntie pick you up?" I asked and he nods. "Hey Rose!" I

hear someone behind him say. "Oh hi Lisa!" I said. "Is this Mi Young?" I ask and she nods. "She really

looks like him." I said. "If you're talking about you know who don't ever mention him." She says.

"Why?" I ask. "He won't come with me anymore because he's married, has a four year old child, and

his wife is pregnant with another child." Lisa tells me. "Do you know who his wife is?" I ask. She shakes

her head. "Nayeon she's back... and has a child..." I said. "Well... at least that child will stop Jungkook

from being with her..." She tells me. "He still doesn't know?" I ask and she shakes her head. "Eomma

can we go home!" Haneul asks. "Okay sweetie." I say. "Well I have to go." I said. "Same. Bye Rose." Lisa

says. I wave and leave with Haneul.

Nayeon's P.O.V:

We go inside and she goes to Yerim and asks, "Can I get some pancakes?" "Sure Ms. Hae Soo right

away." Yerim says. Hae Soo goes to her room. I decided to head to the guest room. He was eating his

hangover soup. "Are you okay?" I ask. "Now.. yes. Thank you." He said. "What got you drunk?" I asked.

"Beer." He said. "Yah! I meant Why did you get drunk?" I said. "I found out that my daughter... was

never my daughter in the first place." He said. "My girlfriend lied to me about that child." He

continued. "Oh I'm sorry to hear that." I said. "Do you really not remember me?" He asks. I shook my

head. The door opens. "Eomma! What are you --" Hae Soo says as she realizes Jungkook is one the

bed. "Why is Kookie here?" She asks. "Kookie?" I said in my head.

Recovered Memory:

I headed to the garden as I knew someone would be there. When I got there I saw the person I expected

to be there. "Kookie." I said. He looks up to me and says, "Nayeon." He stands up and comes closer to me.

"What I told you seven months ago... it was all-" Be said but I interrupt him by saying, "I heard

everything... I regretted dating him after I heard you saying it to thin air... you were completely drunk."

"You heard?" He asked. I nodded. "Aish!! I need to control myself." He said as he's rubbing his neck. "You

do need to control yourself." I said. "I can't control myself today though." He said. "What are you--" I said

but was interrupted by him kissing me. I kissed him back.

Present:

I was lost in my world. "Hi Hae Soo..." He says. "Hi Kookie." She says. "How do you know him Hae

Soo?" I asked. "Appa and I saw him when we went to the park." She replies. "Who gave her that

necklace?" Jungkook asked. "I did." I said. "Who gave you the necklace?" He asked. "I don't

remember..." I said honestly.

Jungkook's P.O.V:

"Who gave her that necklace?" I asked. "I did." She said. "Who gave you the necklace?" I asked her. "I

don't remember..." She said. I want to show her my necklace to make her remember that I'm the one

who gave it to her. But something is keeping me away from doing that. "I feel a whole lot better now...

I think I should leave." I said. "Are you sure?" She asked. I nodded. I slowly get up. I get off the bed and

see my shoes. I put them on and she helps me go down the stairs. Hae soo also helps me... she's just

holding my hand though. Then someone opens the door. It's Baekhyun. However Nayeon and Hae

Soo didn't let go.
