I have a pretty average life, except for the fact that my brother is yet in fact famous and I am not. Oh and uh both of my parents were murdered when we were about one. I don't like to talk about it to anyone. Frankly I don't really tell people anything. Even my friends.

To be completely honest I feel pretty disconnected from the world as if everyone is in it and I am standing, watching them across a room. The only time I feel like I belong is when I am on a broomstick. The feeling of flying is truly as best as I could hope for. Unfortunately, my brother and I share that same passion.

I am a chaser for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team. At first I had mixed feelings about being a Ravenclaw. It just made me feel even more disconnected from the world. The second thought was, at least I don't have to spend every waking moment with Harry. He can be a bit much sometimes.I have come to love Ravenclaw for all the intelligence it has brought me.

Watching my brother triumph with his two very best friends for five years was not very easy. Everyone knows the famous Harry Potter with his black hair, skinny build, and his legendary scar, but did they know his red haired, short, and freckly sister? Now I don't look like the Weasley's with their flaming red hair. Mine is much lighter almost strawberry blonde, just like my mum. I like to think I look like her.

Harry, however got her eyes. I am very jealous for I got my father's eyes which are more of a bronze color. He is the one that gets told he looks like our parents which is sometimes very annoying.

Currently I am sitting in the hot stuffy attic that I have made into a makeshift room at the Dursley's. I hardly see Harry these days he is mostly out of the house all summer. I know he has a lot on his mind so I try and leave him be but he seems to be out of it. As much as I seem to hate my brother, he is still my brother and although I'll never admit it, I love him very much.

This night, however, he has been gone far longer then normal. It is nearly 2:30 in the morning. I creep out of my room and go down the stairs, careful not to wake my sleeping cousin. Before I can reach the front door is opens. Standing there is Albus Dumbledore.

"Good evening Mrs. Potter. If you would collect your things we can be off to the Weasley's where your brother is waiting." I nod my head not even bothering to ask how Harry had managed to get there. That's the one thing that really bothers me most. Harry always seems to be doings things and I always find out from other people.

As soon as I have my trunk, Dumbledore holds out his arm. I have never apparated before this, but after experiencing it I would much rather not. "I think I prefer a broomstick sir."  I realize I am saying this to myself for there is nobody next to me. I am standing in front of the burrow with my trunk which I haul into the house.

When I swing open the door Harry is already there as are the rest of them. As soon as they see me I am embraced in hugs. Ginny, who I would say is one of my closer Gryffindor friends, hugs me tight. "Kelli! Good I was worried Dumbledore would have forgotten you." Harry laughs and hugs me as well.

The next few days go by faster then I would have imagined. And before I knew it I was boarding the Hogwarts express with Harry. Hermione, Ron, and my brother find a compartment alone as usual. I end up sitting with Ginny and Luna who is also another one of my good friends.

When we finally arrive after many long hours. I tell Ginny and Luna to go ahead for I want to walk alone. Nearly everyone is off the train before I get out. On the platform I see Malfoy walking briskly towards the castle. He grew over the summer and now he is much taller then me. I jog up to him. "Malfoy, seems a little strange you would be getting off the train so late." I say as I am beside him.

"What are you doing talking to me Potter? Don't you have friends to catch up with." He sneers. His face seems different as if it is lifeless. He doesn't have his usual smirk plastered to his blonde face. "Don't you?" I ask.

"They are not my friends. I couldn't care less about any single person at this school." He says. "Seems a little harsh. Why are you even back?" I ask. He stops in his tracks and turns to face me. His blueish grey eyes seem cloudy and unfocused. "Here's the thing Ravenclaw, just because you are in the house of insufferable know it alls does not mean you need to act like one. Now get away from me." He stalks off and I let him.

I turn around to see Luna and Harry. Harry is holding a bloody rag to his nose. "Luna? I thought you went inside. And Harry what have you done to your face?" I trot over to them. "I went looking for wacksperts and then I found Harry." She looks to him. "Malfoy." He says. I turn back around and see him with Snape as Filtch is searching trunks.

"Nice face Potter." He stalks off. "Would you like me to fix it for you?" Luna offers taking out her wand. "Well have you ever fixed a nose before?" He asks. "No, but I've done several toes and how different are they really?" She says in her high pitched voice. "Sure give it a go." Harry says. "Episky." Luna preforms the incantation and there is a pop as Harry winces.

"How do I look?" He says and they blood is not running to his shirt. "Exceptionally ordinary." Luna says. She always has very good ways of putting her words that makes me admire her. "Brilliant." Harry says. All three of us make our way to the castle.

As we take our seats at our own table Dumbledore begins his beginning of the year speech as usual. "As you all know each and every one of you was searched upon your arrival here tonight and you have the right to know why. Once there was a young man, like you sat in this very hall walked this castles corridors, slept under its roof, seemed to all the world a student like any other, his name Tom Riddle. Today of course he is known all over the world by another name which is why as I stand looking out upon you all tonight I am reminded by a sobering fact that every day, every hour, this very minute, dark forces try to penetrate this castles wall but, in the end their greatest weapon is you. Just something to think about now off to bed pip pip."

I look over across the hall as Dumbledore is giving his speech all eyes seems to be wide open looking at the headmaster with concern and surprise, all except one. Draco Malfoy is sitting with his in his hand and his wand out. He is looking bored. I narrow my eyes. Something is not right I can tell.
