Two Worlds Apart

Part 1

I've often been told I have a strange way of spelling my name. You see, my names Alecx. Nothing wrong with that right? It's said the way it's spelt. It's like my parents couldn't decide if they wanted to end my name with a 'C' or an 'X'.

I could go on forever about my name, but I understand you're here to read a love story? You see this isn't a conventional love story. I'm not going to start with 'Once upon a time' and end with 'and they lived happily ever after' because this story is real. It's real and raw. Life isn't always a fairytale. But I can tell you one thing, when I first laid eyes on a woman called Alyssa Carter, I had forgotten a single word of the English language.

I know what you're thinking...I said this wasn't going to be like a fairy tale right? Well, one thing I can say is love is real. True love is real and so are soul mates. You see, I met my soul mate that day, I just didn't know it yet.

This is my story. This is my love story. It's not easy but it's real. The obstacles I face are the very reason why I am so strong and sure of my feelings to this day.

So, let's go back in time. To the first day I met Alyssa Carter.

I had big dreams. I had crazy dreams. I would follow those dreams and vow to myself no one would stop me from achieving those dreams.

My names Alyssa Carter and this is my story, just your ordinary average girl. Minus the fact that my dad has a billion pound business. We spend summers on our lake house and winters in our chalet in Switzerland. However, I was brought up humble. Don't let money define you, was what my pops always taught me.

My life has been crazy. So crazy. And there was one reason for that; Alecx Smitton. The day I first met him I knew my life would change. His dark ash coloured hair that formed a mass of dreamy curls on top of his head followed by his piercing green eyes that made my heart beat faster when I first looked at him.

Ladies and gentlemen, please try not to fall in love. It fills you with pain and pleasure all at once. It hurts but it heals, it stings but then soothes...

Enough of my babble now.
