Chapter 1

8 years old Aurora Lily Weasley.
All the family is at the dinner table even my big brother's Bill and Charlie. Mom Dad I have a question. My mom speaks first "What is it, sweetheart?" You said I'll get into Gryffindor but if I don't will you all still love me? Even if I got into Slytherin. My parents looked at each other sadly. "We Promise even if you get into Slytherin or any house we'll still love you. We will also still care for you and you'll still be our daughter. Bill, Charlie, Fred, and George all do a chain link pinky promise. "We Promise to always care for you through thick and thin no matter what house. Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Gryffindor." I smiled at them but frowned at my two younger siblings. I'm older than Ron by 3 hours. But I let him believe he was older. Ginny and Ron seemed against the idea.

Mom Dad guys I know I ask last year but I'm just making sure. "You guys will always care for me. I asked this even the day up until we went on the Hogwarts express and always got the same answer. I even asked at the platform.
Little did I know that my parents promise would be the biggest lie I was ever told.

Sorting ceremony
We meant Harry Potter on the train but I left to go to a different compartment where I found Draco Malfoy. "Weasley what are you doing here." Trying to get away from my brother it all Gryffindor that Gryffindor this if you don't get into Gryffindor I'll disown you as my family. Then an annoying muggle-born came into our compartment didn' even knock before entering. I swear no respect for us. There were two other guys and a girl in there they all smiled at me. Draco laughed and pat the seat next to him so I sat. We talked all the way there until it was time to go. We got into boats they only held five. "What house do you think you'll be in?" Not a house my parents or siblings will be happy with. Pansy spoke, "which is?" Slytherin. They all gasp. "A Weasley in Slytherin?" Draco spoke. I giggled "I am not like my brother I'm sly cunning and ambitious. I am also very resourceful and proud of my heritage. I'm the definition of Slytherin in a nutshell. We soon arrived and the Sorting Ceremony began. "Malfoy, Draco!"
"Slytherin!"
"Potter, Harry!"
He whispered not Slytherin, not Slytherin, not Slytherin. "Gryffindor!"
"Weasley, Ronald!"
"Gryffindor!"
"Weasley, Aurora!"
Hmm, you're different not much like your siblings. Hmm very ambitious and cunning I also see you're very sly. Your whole family has been Gryffindor but you want to be different. You would fit in no other house other than Slytherin. Although you're brave and loyal you meant not for Gryffindor. You'll do great things I know it. But you won't do great things in Gryffindor, Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw. I see the future you will make a choice that will either make you lose your family and gain a new one or keep your family and lose someone you love. Hmm, you're worried how your parents will react but you always knew what house was for you. Even though your parents tried to drill Gryffindor traits into your brain. They knew what house you're supposed to be in and will be in. They will just have to accept my decision.
"SLYTHERIN!" Many people gasp but Slytherin cheers along with my brother Fred and George even Percy. My twin brother grumbles and as I walk by him he speaks to me. "You're not my sister we all knew you were a Slytherin a dishonor to our family!" I was taken aback he earned a wack from Fred, George, and Percy. Fred and George gave me a hug. "Don't worry we will keep our promise. They say in sync. I walk and Percy too stops me. "You'll make us proud you're smart I knew you'd be Slytherin but don't worry you're still my little sister. I smile and sit at my table next to Draco and Pansy.
Skip to the first game of the season me and Harry are seekers for our house. Although Harry has made it his goal to beat me because of my friends. As I go in the air I see my brother's Fred and George have pinned a banner to the Gryffindor side that said Go Aurora. They fly by me. "Remember it's our job to prevent Harry from getting bloodied up and it's also our job to get you bloodied up. We start flying around and after a while, we caught the snitch I winning for our team. I was carried on there shoulder not seeing the glare my twin was giving me or the scowl on Harry's face.

Fred POV
We were in the locker room when we heard Ron and Harry complaining about the match saying Aurora cheated. We walked over to them. "Hey that is our sister Ron and she was the only one not cheating on her team so don't even. Also, don't tell me you disowned her because of her house. My brother George said. Ron scoffed "she bound to turn evil!" I snap Yes Ron but only if you abandon her so don't. Ron you've got to act like the twin brother you are because if you're not then what's stopping her. Be the rock don't let it happen. She our sister. "She may be your sister but she is not mine." With that, they both walk away. I shake my head I know my sister she loves Ron so much it will devastate her.

Molly pov at the Burrow
Oh Arthur, Percy sent a letter about what houses Ron and Aurora got in.
"Mother I am writing to inform you Ron got into Gryffindor." I smiled and was happy another Gryffindor. " Mom I know you may not be happy but Aurora, as we believed, would happen got into Slytherin. She was slightly devastated afraid you will turn on her. The sorting hat was in her head for an extremely long time so it analyzed her. She made friends is happy. Don't shut her out she already feels like an outcast Ron won't even look at her. He refuses to speak to her he's being excused my language mother " an arse a complete arse."
"Love your son Percy Weasley."
Oh, dear a... Slytherin that is well uh. "Yes it is dear but we promised I believe she always knew she'd be a Slytherin." Although we said this we both knew we would need to make sure we don't let the generalization of Slytherin not make us treat her differently. But we failed at well I failed at doing so until it was too late.
A week after sorting
Ron's Pov
Hey Ron look your dad I think is in the newspaper so is your mom and Aurora.
"Aurora Lily Weasley was placed in Slytherin. Yes, a Weasley in Slytherin and an anonymous source says she became quick friends with the children of her parent's enemies or dislike. Although she is extremely close to Draco Malfoy since they meant on the train. Draco Malfoy is Lucius Malfoy's son and we all know Lucius and the Weasley's don't get along.

At first, I thought Aurora wrote it until I saw her pale and light the paper on fire saying. "God can't she stay out of people lives or does she have to write about others lives because she has no life!" Malfoy and her friends looked annoyed with the paper but Greengrass seemed happy and was the one that handed my sister the paper she looked quite smug about the whole thing.
Aurora pov
Christmas at the Malfoy Manor
His mom picked up me and him his dad was at work but would be home for dinner. Cissa was very kind to me. "It is so nice to meet you Draco talks about you quite often. Draco blushes but I ignore him. My name is Narcissa but you can call me Cissy or Cissa most do. I give her a friendly smile and speak. Aurora Lily Weasley Cissa it's nice to meet you. Thank you for inviting me to your house it is wonderful. My parents and twin brother even my little sister and big brother Percy won't talk to me. I haven't gotten a letter from my parents or Ginny since they found out I was a Slytherin. Even though we all knew I would be Slytherin they can't accept it. They wouldn't even let me come home this Christmas saying it wasn't because of my house but the place they were going. Only to cancel last minute. They told me they didn't have money to get me gifts only enough to get my siblings.
