Chapter 8

Skip to the choosing of the champions
"Sit down please. And now the moment
you've all been waiting for, the champions
selection!" Dumbledore approaches the blue flame and it glows red. A name
comes out. Everyone looks on anxiously.
"The Durmstrang champion is ... Viktor
Krum!" The Durmstrang crowd cheer. Another name comes out.
"The champion from Beauxbatons... Fleur
Delacour" The Beauxbatons girls cheer as Fleur walks up. Another name comes
out. "The Hogwarts champion... Cedric Diggory." Hogwarts pupils cheer as Cedric takes the stage.
"Excellent! we now have our three champions!
But in the end only one will go down
in history. Only one will hoist this
chalice of champions, this vessel of
victory the tri-wizard cup!" People cheer, but the goblet glows red once more and another
name flies out. Dumbledore takes it and reads...
"Harry Potter. Harry Potter? And Aurora Weasley?" People call him a cheat and insult Aurora to Pansy speaks up. They had become friends over the years. "Don't insult Aurora it couldn't have been her!" Someone yells "then how did her name get in there?!" Probably by the same person who poisoned her on the train did you all forget she has been out cold in the hospital wing for the past two weeks so she's been like that since we got here. So she couldn't have possibly done it." No one had any smart remarks as she sat back down.
Harry Potter
They called Draco Malfoy to come back there with all the champions. They were asking Me if I did it then turned to Draco. "Who are you?" "Oh I was called by Dumbledore he had to ask me a question about Aurora." The Drumstrang guy spoke "yes I was wondering we know she didn't do it she has been in a coma for two weeks. It would be impossible. Whoever did this would likely be whoever poisoned her on the train." Please tell me you aren't making her do this she can't she is not even awake yet. Let alone even if she does wake she won't be back to full strength by the time the first task comes up. "I must go to the Ministry to see what protocol is on this situation." Dumbledore speaks "we all agree whoever did this to Aurora probably put her name in the goblet. For her sake I hope she doesn't have to participate. As bad as it sounds I hope she doesn't wake till the tournament over ." I nod and look sad people die in this tournament. I don't want to lose her. As soon as I go I write to my dad hoping he can do something

Back at the Burrow
Letter from George
Me and Arthur got a letter and we were told to open it together
"I don't know if you heard but someone poisoned Aurora on the way here. She has been unconscious for two weeks now. Someone also entered her's and Harry's name in the goblet. Everyone know it wasn't her since she has been out since we got to school she even missed the feast. Draco is pretty torn up he only leaves her side for class and then he get food from the great hall and brings it to the Hospital wing. She is very pale and is getting skinnier from not eating they are hoping she wakes up in the next week. If not they fear that she may not make it much longer parents.

Rita Skeeter
"This the Malfoy Family have taken her in as temporary guardians she was only at Hogwarts a hour before she was rushed to the Hospital wing because of being poisoned. First being disowned now being poisoned she is not off to a good start not to mention whoever poisoned her put her name in the goblet of Fire. They don't know what they are going to do as even if she wakes up she will most likely be too weak to fight or do the first task. On semi-related news. It surprised us all when she was with the Malfoy's but now she lives there because of a falling out. She is also currently dating Draco Malfoy and there has been rumors of a arranged marriage when the graduate or turn of age. Many people said that Aurora wasn't the same they said her demeanor changed she flinched when people went to touch her. Although we just hope her the best. I throw the paper in the fire. I feel so bad why do I care she is a disgrace but she is my daughter.

Back at school
Aurora pov
I awake in the hospital wing and look around it must be around 3 am because Draco is asleep. I shake him and when he sees me he smiles then frowns. "Aurora I got bad news but go to sleep I'll tell you in the morning." I nod and scoot over so he lays with me and I am out. I awake to pictures being taken by Rita Skeeter. She quickly leaves and I scowl at the lady and groan. Great we're going to be front cover on the news paper. Again! This is when people walk in. "Aurora you're awake good we need to talk." Of course Headmaster what is it? "Aurora whoever poisoned you put yours and Harry's name in the goblet of Fire. At this I faint I come to a little while later and listen to them talk. I could hear Lucius "Fudge, Headmaster there must be something else she is in no state to do this." I hear Fudge speaks "you think I don't know that Lucius. I know she is in no state to participate but it is a binding contract she has no choice." I can feel the annoyance radiating off of Lucius. "Fudge.." "My hands are tied all I can do is make it so she doesn't do the first task she'll be given the same amount of points as whoever in last place. She will have to participate in the second and third task." I groan and they look at me. Lucius looked at me "I tried my best I did but all they can do is make it so you don't participate in the first task." I give him a sad smile and he nods. No I'll participate in the first task I'll be fine. I ain't going to take pity points. Eventually they leave and I am allowed out of the hospital. I was paranoid constantly because whoever did this is still out there.
