Chapter 7

I made my way to history and sat down in my seat. Some new guy whose name was Jason sat next to me.

I looked at him, he looked at me. We stared at each other for what felt like five minutes then I looked away.

I could still see him looking at me from the corner of my eye. I turned to him and whispered, "Do I know you or have we met before or something? Cuz you seem really familiar."

He just shook his head, and turned his attention back to the teacher.

"Students, turn your books to page 15, we're starting a knew topic today, Caribbean history".

I turned my book to the page and sighed. History was so boring.

"Psst, pssst" I ignored it.

"Psst Jan!" Meg whisper shouted.

I turned to her "What!!"

"Hi" she said and smiled rediculously. I looked at her with an upset face, then we both started laughing.

"Megan Prior, and Janette Dickson you both have detention" I heard the teacher say.

"Uuum why?" We said in unison.

"For disruption of the class."

"But how are we disrupting the class, and half the class is sleeping?" I said, some children laughed quietly.

"Now you have doubled your detention, today and tomorrow".

"Ugh!" I shouted loudly "you can't be serious."

"Well I am, so I suggest you be quiet before you get another day".

"Fine".

I put my headphones in and put my head on the desk. I don't know how but I ended up falling asleep, and when I opened my eyes Jason was staring at me. Is there something on my face? Was i drooling?

I wiped the side of my mouth. Dry, phew thank god. He was still staring.

"What are you looking at me for?" I asked. He just blinked. "I mean if you want an autograph just ask". I joked, trying to lighten the mood. He just continued to stare, like what the heck.

"Can you like, stop staring at me like that, it's kind of uncomfortable".

"Okay".

"Yup". I looked at the clock, one minute left, finally.

"Students you will all be paired up for the project, the list is on the bulletin board behind the class". I looked at Meg and mouthed "What project?"

"I'll text you the detes". She mouthed back at me. Hopefully we were paired together.

The bell rang. I got up and went to the board to see who I was paired with. "Oh my goodness. Why dear lord? Why?" I said to myself. Off all the people in the class I had to be paired with that creepy guy Jason.

I looked at him leaving the class and he just looked at me and grinned like he knew we were in the group together, he didn't even look at the list. I left the class, and went to the restroom, as I entered the light shut off.

"Hello? Anybody in here?" I suddenly heard the pipe shut on. I ran to the light switch and turned it on. I was startled at what I saw green slime covered the floor, and that was coming from the pipe. This has to be a prank or these pipes need some serious cleaning.

"If someone's in here, this is one sick prank you're pulling" I said. The lights flickered and I saw a black shadow pass right in front of me, and I saw something red and glowing.

I gasped. "Oh my gosh!" It totally looks like this thing is now coming towards me. Aaah I internally screamed. I tried to run but it was like my feet were planted firmly to the ground from fear, and not knowing where the heck to run since it was blocking the damn door.

"Okay here's the plan when this demon thingy is two steps away, run straight past him, if you get past hallelujah, if you don't you've lived a good life." I said to my self not noticing that the demon was now right in front of me.

All I said now was "Lord send help". Just then a couple of girls entered the bathroom, the lights immediately shut on, the pipes running clean water, the sink sparkling, the floor clean also, and the what I thought was a demon disappeared.

So the girls came in and thankfully it looked like I just came out the stall rather than fighting a demon. I washed my hands carefully making sure no green slime was still coming out of the pipes.

I left the restroom, and went to my locker. Megan stood there fuming. "Jan!! I stood here a good five minutes waiting for you!! Where were you! "

"In the bathroom" . I answered calmly. "Oh okay let's go".

That's one thing I like about Meg, she can't be mad for long, because if you don't put up a fight she won't.

"Hey Meg, J-D wait up!" We both turned around to see Johnny jogging towards us. As he passed by all the girls made googly eyes at him, and winked, flipped their hair, and suddenly started to talk louder.

Like for real just act cool. But i still totally understand, I mean he's the captain of the football team, and plus he's super cute, I mean that in a best friend kind of way.

"Hi Johnny" Meg and I said together. He squeezed between us and put his hands on both of our shoulders as we walked to geography. "What's up Meg?"

"I'm cool".

"What about you Jan, you seemed pretty shaken up when I saw you yesterday". Just then my eyes fell directly into Jason's i quickly looked away.

He was actually handsome, I didn't even notice. Well he has two things going for him. That he's handsome and has that mysterious vibe coming from him, that girls like.

"Uuuum it was nothing Johnny I just felt confused about something". Yeah right dumbest lie I ever told. C'mon Jan you can do better than that. Just as they were about to ask me more questions we entered geography.

Hey guys. I know this chapter wasn't all that but it's cuz i'm not feeling all that motivated anymore.

But i WILL continue writing for those of u who are reading it and enjoying it.

Yea so uuum, i dont know when im going to update again but it might be a while.
