It was 4 in the morning Henry was wide awake and felt awful. He remind what had happened. The Pain. The Agony. The Distress. All of it. He started at his knee covered in Ice still but for some reason he felt like Crying. He felt that he was the worst sidekick for getting himself into this situation. His Hypermotility was no help. Worst of all he felt like a failure. He slowly layer on side trying not to bend his lower leg in anyway. He knew that Ray and Schwoz were sleeping on the couch but did have to look. He layed sideways away from them and silently whimpered. Ray woke up to Henry's whimpering and saw him laying sideways he might have hurt himself. He got up and went over to the other said in where Henry layed. Shedding tears.
Ray: Hey are you ok did you hurt yourself?
*Henry shook his head and continued to Wimper*
Henry: No.
Ray: Then what's wrong?
*Still shedding tears*
Henry: I'm an awful sidekick Ray. I got myself injured and into this situation. I tried Ray I really tried fighting him off but he was to strong. I'm sorry Ray I really am. I tried using my Hypermotility to do so but it was no help. He Dodge every fist I gave him. No superpower can defeat a guy like him Ray. I hate myself right now and I'd give almost anything Ray anything for this Pain to go away...
Ray didn't know how to react...
Ray: Are u kidding me?! Ur amazing! It isn't your fault you got hurt. Like you said you tried and tried to take him down and in full honesty right now everyone who knows about you Charlotte, Jasper, Schwoz, Me all of us knew at somepoint you were gonna get hurt...
Henry: How?
Ray: Your not Indestructible Henry.
Henry: Oh
It was silent for a moment
Ray: Henry.
Henry: Mmm
Ray: What's on your mind right now?
*Henry stayed slient for a few minutes then began to tear up again*
Henry: Ray.
Ray: Yes.
Henry: How in the world am I gonna hide this from my family?
Ray had that exact same question repeated to him in his mind for hours on end over and over and over again. He would tell him he doesn't know but he didn't want to overwhelm Henry even more then he already is so he he didn't say what he wanted to say.
Ray: Don't Worry about it. Me and Schwoz have a way. It's not for you to be considered about right now...
Henry: But—
*Henry lifted his head up as if he was going to sit up. Ray put his hand on his shoulder and pushed him down to prevent him from getting up*
Ray: Henry. There are so many other things to be worried about right now specifically your injury. That's my main focus and it should be yours too. Not how your gonna hide this from your family. Don't worry about it. Trust me. Worry about your injury. Nothing else. Your overwhelming yourself and you shouldn't. You don't need more pain. You can hardly go anywhere right now. Let me, Schwoz, Charlotte and Jasper worry about it. Not you. You do not to submerge yourself in even more overwhelming problems right now. Injury Henry. That's all you need to be worrying and thinking about right now. Your Injury.
Henry: But Ray Please ho-
Ray: Henry.
Henry stopped attempting to get Ray into telling how he was going to hide his incident from his parents. He was way too tired to continue fighting with him.
Ray: Henry promise me that is going to be the only thing your gonna worry and think about. What had just happened to you is your only concern. Promise me.
*Henry thought for a minute before answering*
Henry: Ray I can't promise that...
Ray: What?! Why?
Henry: Because I think everyday and of course I'm gonna worry about me and my injury and my family. I'm sorry but I just can't promise it. I can promise you I won't mention it but I can't promise I won't think or worry about it.
