Chapter 12: Im Free

A Few Days Past when Ray had confronted Henry about his knee pain. Schwoz assigned him a medical pill that was strong enough to withstand his pain and strong enough that it would numb it but gentle enough for his knee to heal properly. Schwoz also strictly quarantined Henry in the Man Cave for some Physical Therapy to regain his strength. It took a few days but he got the hang of things and began to regain his ability to move his leg more then he did. There were times where he was in pain but he knew he would have to push through if he wanted to go home. He wanted more than anything to leave the Man-cave to go home to his family in which he has grown to miss so much. His own bed and privacy. God he missed his own life before everything. He's been 2 months away from home. His family calling him every day to make sure everything was alright. He couldn't wait for the day when Schwoz would clear him. That day was so, so very close. He had yet to know that.

Schwoz was in the process of doing Henry's weekly x-rays.

Schwoz: Hey Ray comes on over.

Ray: Is everything all right?

*Schwoz gave a smirk*

Ray: What's Wrong? What's with that smirk? Ew.

Schwoz: He's Good.

*Ray Pondered*

Ray: Good? Like Good, how like no he's good or like Good Good or wha--

Schwoz Interrupted: Ray! He's Good as in he's fully healed.

*Ray stood there then it all made sense.*

Ray: Healed? He's fine? He can go home now?

Schwoz: I would have to look over a few more times but other than that yes he could.

Ray: Oh Man! We have to go to tell him! He is going to be so happy!

Schwoz: Let's go then!

Henry was in the process of watching some Netflix on Ray's Laptop until both men came to his side smiling.

Henry: What's going on? You guys like look you have just won the lottery.

*Ray and Schwoz looked at one another then back at Henry*

Ray: You're Cleared.

Henry: Cleared what do you mean--

*Then it all of it came together*

Henry: You mean I'm fully healed? As in I can leave this place?

Schwoz: Your X-Rays came out well. Your break has fully healed. You can leave this place correct.

Henry took a minute to let everything sink.

Henry: I can go home. *in disbelief*

*Ray nods*

Henry then jumps up to give Ray a huge hug probably the biggest hug he had ever given anyone then turned to Schwoz to give him one too.

Henry: I can go home.

Henry had all his stuff packed ready to go and then Ray came out.

Ray: You sure look eager to get home.

Henry: I've been in here for the last 2 months it feels so unreal.

Ray: Hey also take a few days off to adjust back to your normal life and back to your family. They sure must miss you.

Henry: & I missed them.

*They both smiled at one another*

Henry: Hey Ray um-- Thank You for everything. I don't think I would have gone through this without you by my side countless nights. I love you forever for it as friends and I don't think I can thank you enough for being there for me when I went through all of this. You were my Rock.

Ray: Anything for you kid. Make it home safely.

Henry: Promise.

They both came in for a hug and the first time in so long he went into the elevator and waved goodbye to Ray. Walking out looking at Junk N Stuff for the first time in so long it felt like forever since he first came up here. he made his way out walking his way back to his home. That when he saw it. His house. How much he had missed it. He pulled out his house key and unlocked the door and went inside.

Henry: Guess who's home?!
