The vow renewal ceremony was just beautiful. I couldn't have asked for anything more then to be able to share that moment with the people I love; minus some paparazzi. Now we have moved the party to the venue for the reception. I decided I didn't want to exchange my gown for something party like. I just look too good in it; Michael must thinks the same. I was catching up with Melissa about her life and children who are now 18 and 19, when a pair of big slender hand's circles around my waist. I jump, scared a little. Melissa giggles before winking and turning to walk away. "Hey babygirl, thought I would steal you away.", Michael whispered in my ear swaying us. I giggle. "Awe aren't you the cutest criminal... ", I cooed. Michael chuckles, setting his head on my shoulder. "You know babygirl... I love this dress... ", Michael trailed off nibbling my ear. I let out a small giggle that came out as a loud squeal. "You don't say...", I teased turning around to face him. He has this boyish smile on his face. He nods biting his lip. "I can't tonight papa...I don't have energy...", He playfully pouts. "Okay...I understand, but on a lighter note...I think we have the house", My eyes widen. "Really? ", He nods. "I have to have Bill talk to the Realtors...see what is their next move...", I rest my head on his shoulder while wrapping my arms around his neck. "I hope we get the house...before the baby comes.", He kisses my head. "Don't worry mama...papa's got it...", He whispered softly. I sigh happily. I once gave up on us. I regret it. I wanted to forget us, I wanted to find myself. The truth is, Michael is everything that I am. The air I breath, the reason my heart beats. He gave me many gifts of life. Their name's; Brandon, Dylan, Jasmine, and still unknown. While swaying to the beat of our own heart's, I feel a tap on my shoulder. I lean off Michael's shoulder and turn to see Joseph. He smiles sheepishly. "May I have this dance?", He asked holding his hand out. I look at Michael. He nods. "Yes you may.", I agreed taking his hand. Slipping away from Michael, and into the arm's of Joseph. I hadn't notice that Brian was singing another one of his greatest hits. Joseph and I sway along to the music silently. I decide to break the after a couple of minutes. "Joseph I want to Thank-you... ", I said softly. He furrows his eyebrows. "For what I ain't done nothin'", He chuckled out. I smile. "For teaching Michael his mistakes and pushing him to be a better man.", He shrugs. "Michael knows how to do that... I just reminded him...It's you I should thank, You've shown me a lot...those sappy movies do have meanin' now", He expressed spinning me. I giggle. "What makes you say that? ", He smiles. "They all have a message... love conquers all...That explains your relationship with my boy..", He started choking up a bit. "It makes me wish I done better by Katie.... God I miss her, may he bless her soul.", I frown and kiss his forehead. "Don't cry over the physical being that is no longer here, celebrate the spirit that still lingers... ", I whispered hugging him. He squeezes me tighter. I think this is the closest I have been with Joseph. He's a man that has learned his way's and changed for the better. Once he calmed down, Joseph kisses my hand and thanked me. I smile. "It's my pleasure dad. ", He chuckles before returning me to Michael. Michael was kidding around with Ryan when we approached him. "Here she I .the woman of the hour", Ryan enthused opening his arms for a hug. I smile and walk into a warm embrace. "You look stunning Marilyn ", Ryan said breaking the hug. "Not to shabby yourself Ryan", I teased. Michael clears his throat playfully.  Ryan and I laugh. "Awe is Mikey jealous? ", Ryan teased. Michael shakes his head. "Nope, because I go home with her", Ryan raises his hands in defeat. "Okay Mister Jackson ", I turn to Joseph, who was still standing there. "Thank-you for the talk, I love you dad", I said, kissing his cheek. Joseph blushes nodding. "Well I was just returning her..you two have fun. I love you guys", He said softly, quickly walking away. Michael gently pulls me closer to him. "What was that about?", He asked holding my waist. "Just a man realizing his change", I whispered, swaying. Michael nods and quietly shoos Ryan away. "I'm really happy you gave us another try...I regret every bit of pain I put you over the year's... every heart ache I-", "Michael honestly if we didn't go through trial and error we wouldn't be where we are now...We wouldn't have the chemistry, the love, or ambience of a strong connection...So don't apologize for what have already forgiven you for.", I whispered stealing a kiss from him.
