Mia's POV

"Mia someone left a package for you" I saw Anita giving me a small gray box wrapped with a red ribbon.

I opened the box to see an iPhone in rose gold color. I gasped because this is the phone that I have wanted. A note fell off and I picked it up for me to see.

"I know you'll love it and I will give you everything you have ever wanted by just saying yes to me"

I crumple the note and threw it in the trash. I put the phone back inside the box planning to return it back to him.
I just continued to do my work fixing all the books into their right places. I want to remove his presence in my mind and make it in peace.

I have plans on moving out of my apartment because I can already afford a better apartment. Also, I have to keep my new address as a secret for Dimitri not to follow me anymore.

He is attractive and I won't lie about that, but I am scared of his capabilities and for god's sake he is a murderer. I can confirm the gossips about him being part of the mafia were all true. I just have to be careful next time.

The day went by so fast and Dimitri is nowhere to be found so far. It is closing time and I have to go home because it is already late. I am all alone inside the library fixing all the books that readers have used for today.

I got that feeling that someone is watching me and it's making me uncomfortable. The library is dead silent and it's deafening my ears.

Once I was done, I immediately picked all my things and I locked the library doors. I walk down the road going to the same route every day to my apartment.

I sped walked being conscious of my surroundings.

I'm so glad that I have arrived in my own apartment safely. As I was about to close the door someone stuck their foot to my door preventing it from closing. I opened the door and I saw Dimitri with all his glory.

I tried speaking to him but I can't form a single word.

"I want to take you out tonight," he said scratching the back of his neck.

"Dimitri, it's a no, you can-" I tried explaining but he suddenly cut me off.

"I didn't ask you, JUST GO OUT WITH ME TONIGHT," he said getting impatient

"You can't control what I want to do, Heck, I don't want to be even near you. All I know is that you are a monster killing innocent people" I told him and I wish I didn't. My emotions got the best of me.

He got pissed and fear crept up to my spine because he looks terrifying.

I was about to continue my talk when he cut me off by immediately kissing me. My eyes widened and we stayed like that for like 10 seconds.

After I realized what was happening, I suddenly pushed him off and slapped him hard. His blue eyes got darker and I am not liking a bit of it.

I saw him looking to my side to see the inside my apartment through my open door and that's when he saw the boxes for me to move out.

"Why are you packing all your things?" he asked

"It's none of your business," I said getting annoyed by his presence

"Where are you moving to? to Can I still see you? We must-" I suddenly cut him off

"Dimitri for god's sake there was never an 'us' for you to be worried about what I do or wherever I go" I burst out

I grabbed the package he left this morning and I want to return it back.

"I can't accept this" grabbing his palm returning the box to his hand

I immediately closed the door and I peeped through the hole. I can see him getting angry, his fist getting pale because of the pressure of his grip.

He suddenly left muttering some words I don't quite understand. I am worried about myself.

Dimitri's POV

I tried being nice, I tried acting normal for her to accept me. I tried giving my best but what did she do, she just kept on rejecting me.

The whispering in my head got stronger and I just covered my ears trying to block the noise.

I took a deep breath and that's when I have to take her,

Even if it is by force just for her to be with me forever.
