Dick Grayson and Damian Wayne one shots

slade part 3

tears rolled down renegades cheeks as he made his way to jump city, the tears quickly fell off because of the harsh wind that was created as he sped down the freeway. he was dreading the idea of even entering the city as he new he would have to face the titans like he had all those years ago. as he sped passed cars he could see the T shaped building that he spent a few years of his life and seeing it only made him cry more, he took a deep breath and made his way to the museum.

but he looked back at the tower and his heart ached, he hadn't visited the titans in so long. he pulled up the back of the museum and turned the bike off and pulled off his helmet, his hair falling down into his face, he reached up and pushed his hair out of his face as he placed the helmet on the handle bars. he stood up and just looked at the building, it was only a matter of time before the titans show up, both him and slade new that. slade watched his apprentice through the security cameras of the building behind the museum, he could see the hesitation so he decided to give him a push. he grabbed the remote and set the setting to low and pressed the button, dicks muscles tensed when he felt the slight sting of the electricity "get moving, or i wont be so generous the next time you hesitate" slade hissed into the mic leading to the ear piece in dicks ear.

once slade turned off the electricity renegade sighed and pulled out his grappling hook and shot at the roof, once it latched onto something he let it repel him onto the roof, it launched him into the air so he allowed himself flip forward and landed in a crouch on the roof, making little to no noise what so ever. "stop with the theatrics circus boy" slade hissed, dick rolled his eyes and silently walked up to the glass sky light, he looked down inside the building, seeing a few artifacts on pedestal's, he opens up the sky light and he reached up to his mask. he turned on a setting that allowed him to see if there were any lasers that would alert the police of a break in.

when he saw the coast was clear he dropped down into the building, he looked around the room and saw the green glowing rocks, and there were definitely lasers around it, he groaned and he ran at the lasers, he began jumping through the lasers, flipping and dodging his way through without touching a single one, once he was close to the kryptonite he was able to grab the rocks and replace them with the fakes that were in his belt. but before he could make his way back through the lasers and get away the lights turned on and the lasers turning off "well, i don't know about the rest of you but i'm having major deja vu. what about you, robin" cyborgs voice slightly echoed in the room, renegade looked over at the big doors of the museum to see the titans. renegades heart was racing, his face paled as he looked at them, he could tell starfire was putting on a strong face but he new she was torn up by the situation, beast boy looked kinda mad as well as cyborg but he new they weren't mad at him, no but at the man pulling all the strings, the one forcing their friend into this dark world that he had been terrified of fore years. raven looked calm, but he new that under that hood she was just hiding how she felt for multiple reasons, but what hurt him the most was damian, the boy was looking at him with a betrayed look "why. why would you do this!" he yelled, even with the mask on his little face dick could see the hurt and sadness in them, dick wanted nothing more then to run over and hug them all, to attack starefire with kisses and to hug all the others to death, but he couldn't.

so he said one simple thing, he new he wasn't allowed to speak but he needed to say it, he didn't care if he got punished.

"because i love you"

damian looked at his brother with a aching heart, hes doing all of this because he loved him. before damian could react his reneged ran at them, and before renegade fully made it to the titans he jumped over there heads like he had done before, but instead of going into a vent he turned midair to face the same direction as the titans, he pulled smoke pellet's out of the belt and threw them on the ground as well as ice pellet's that grew over there feet keeping them in place, he landed and he ran for the door. he made it outside only to be blinded by police lights, all the police were lined up outside of the building with there weapons drawn and aiming at the man "drop your weapons and come quietly" one cop said over the bullhorn. "get out of there" slade commanded, renegade again threw smoke bombs down, he hid in the nights shadow as the police tried to find him, but dick had moved into the alleyway and was making his way up to the roof of one of the buildings. as soon as he got to the roof he began running across the rooftops.
