Justin's POV
Flowers and chocolates littered the room from her team leaving her 'Get Well Soon' cards and presents. Ari still has not woken up. Its been two days, and its scaring me. Due to me being at the hospital all the time, my face is on every magazine, website, and newspaper. Each one having almost the same exact headline, "Bieber In the Hospital?". Ari and I knew one day that we'd have to come out to the press, but we didn't want to do it this way. I guess karma has finally caught up to us.
A groan snapped me out of my thoughts. I looked down to see Ari waking up. Once her eyes were open, she looked around, trying to figure out where she was.
"Hey Babe, take it easy. You have a concussion." I kissed her on her cheek.
"What happened? I don't remember anything from today. Wait, don't I have a soccer game today? Coach is going to kill me if i'm late again." She was so frustrated.
I sighed, "Babe, you were already at your game. A girl kicked you in your head and you got knocked out."
She started crying, "Well, that explains why my head is pounding. It hurts, Justin." She whimpered.
I pressed the call button for the nurse and told Ari I had to go call her parents to let them know she woke up. She didn't want me to leave, but eventually let go of my hand.
After I spoke to her parents, I went back into the room. Ari was sitting in bed texting.
"Who are you texting?" I asked.
She jumped, "God, Justin! You scared me." She laughed.
I chuckled, "Sorry, Babe."
"Anyways, I'm texting Haylee. She said the team misses me and they can't wait till I come back." She explained.
I just nodded my head and sat down next to her on the bed.
The doctor came in 10 minutes later, saying we could leave at any time we wanted to. All I had to do was sign the papers and we could go home. I followed the doctor out of Ari's hospital room so she could get changed.
"Now Son, she can't play soccer for two weeks. No practice, no games, no nothing. She needs to take it easy." He explained, "If she feels sick or is light headed, make sure you lay her down in bed and give her a glass of water. It may happened in the first week of her recovery."
I nodded, signing the papers while listening to him. After I finished signing the papers, I went back into Ari's room, helping her walk out of the room and to the front enterance. You could see the flashes of the camera.
"Are you ready, Babe? I'll carry you so we can get out of the crowd faster." I said while picking her up. She nodded and put my hood and her own over her head.
I pushed the doors open only to be blinded by flashes and hearing screams.
"Justin! Over here! Who's this young lady?"
"Ew, shes a whore. Get away from my Justin!"
"What happened to her, Justin?"
I could feel my shirt getting wet, meaning that Ari was crying.
I tried to sooth her, "Shh, don't cry baby. Don't listen to them, okay? I love you, and thats all that matters, okay?"
She nodded against my chest and I continued to the car. When we got there, I put her in the front seat and ran over to my side of the car. Paparazzi was now surrounding my car. I beeped the horn and started driving slowly. They eventually moved, allowing me to leave.
"Do you want to come to my house? Or go back home?" I asked.
She sighed, "I don't care. Whatever's closer. I just need Advil, my head is killing me."
"Okay, my house it is." I looked over at her, still seeing her crying.
At a red light, I turned to her, "Ari?"
She sniffled, "Yeah?"
"I love you, okay? Remember that. Don't listen to anyone else. No one runs our relationship but us. I love you." I smiled.
She smiled back, "I love you too."
